You Will Not Be Defeated

In John 16:33, Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The challenges and hardships of this world will not overcome you because Jesus already triumphed over their power to triumph over you. He's promised to protect and preserve you regardless of the circumstances you might find yourself in today. Whether you're battling depression, facing trials, or even if you feel on top of the world, Jesus will still keep you undefeated. 

Jesus declared that you're safely held in the hand of God, His Father, and no one can take you away from Him. As a believer in Christ, you're in the most secure position possible in the entire universe. Take comfort and stand firm. You're already secure.
