We Don't Need to Pretend

Psalm 32:2 

“Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” 

In other words, blessed is the person who has received forgiveness and is on a transformative journey, evolving from one state of grace to another by the Spirit of God. Blessed is that man, blessed is that woman. 

Remember, we don’t have to have everything figured out when we first come to Christ, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Perfection is not a prerequisite. Honesty with God is what truly matters. 

We don’t need to pretend in His presence. He knows us fully, even before we know it ourselves. There’s no need for deceit. So embrace your journey of transformation. Be real with God about where you are, and allow His Spirit to guide you toward your next step in grace. 

It’s an amazing thing when you begin to realize this. Talk to God about it.
