Psalm 96:6–8 says, “Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts.”
We are God's sanctuary, His church. The Lord's strength and beauty are in our physical bodies. When we said “Yes” to Jesus Christ, God took up residence in us through His Holy Spirit, as evidenced by our countenance and daily lives.
God has placed us where we are so that we may give Him the glory due to His name. May our lives be a worthy and acceptable offering to God, and may they bring many souls into His light and glory.
