Time To Protect Our Hearts

Psalm 1:1 says, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the paths of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.”
This message is so important, especially in this generation when there is so much ungodly speech. We're inundated with words of division, vilification, suggestions of violence, and hate. God tells us as His people that if we walk in His counsel and choose to walk and talk in a way He says is correct, we will be blessed.
It's time to protect our hearts and minds from wrong thinking. It's time to turn off the voices of the scornful. It's time to remember who put breath into our lungs and why. My brothers and sisters, let's use our voices for something that can change eternity.
It's time for us, again, to pray.
