There's Much To Be Done

Matthew 17:4 – “Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, ‘Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.’”

Many people want more of God, but they don’t want their world to be shaken. They enjoy their jobs, their churches, their routines—seeking more of God but hesitant to leave their place of comfort.

It’s like the disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration, who said, “Lord, it’s so good for us to be here!” They didn’t want to come down the mountain to a broken and suffering world.

But if the cross is to be revealed in our lives and in our time, we must be willing to come down from our mountains of comfort and go where the people are.

There is still so much to be done. So many people need Christ.

It’s time to pray.
