Episode description

Psalm 46:2–4 says, “Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.”

The psalmist saw a calamity coming on the earth, but he saw a life source amid the shaking. We see many losing heart today, and we might even be inclined to do the same.

The true child of God will have a river of gladness in their heart that is inexplicable apart from God's presence and provision. Yes, the floods may beat against us, but let us keep an eternal perspective. Let us stand unmoved with God Himself being our supply.

It's time to pray.
