Resist the Devil And He Will Flee From You

As Christians, we encountered things we've embraced that might have satisfied us. We believed it for a season, but when we came closer to it, we realized that it wasn’t helping. It could have been education. It could have been a relationship or material things. But when you approach it, you find it has deceptive power, and it's not what your life is called to be in God.

Jesus gives us authority against things that hinder us and bring no satisfaction or benefit to our future. If something offers you satisfaction and still tempts you again today, you can take authority over those things.

James 4:7 says, "Therefore, submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Remember my brother, my sister; there's incredible power in prayer.
