Put Away This Old Nature
Episode description
Ephesians 4:21–24 says, “If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
Without Christ, people will continue to be deceived and become darker as the days progress. They'll be entrenched in behavior that alienates them from who they're supposed to be in God. We have to get into the Word of God and trust Him for the power to put away this old nature.
If we make a straight path in our hearts to God, He will fill every high and low place in us, giving us the power we need to be the people we're called to be.
Above all things, it's time to pray.
