One Step Of Faith

2 Kings 6:2 says, “Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.”

Just as every house starts with a single piece of wood, our journey toward God’s promises begins with one step of faith. This beam represents the promise of abundance found in John 10:10, where Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
He offers not just eternal life, but a life filled with purpose and joy.
As followers of Christ, we’re not meant to live in mediocrity or struggle through every day. We have a higher calling to reflect His glory in this world.
