It's Time To Humble Ourselves
Episode description
James 4:6 says: “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.’”
God's incredible grace is available to us when we are ready to admit that we can't break free from self-focus without His help. It's only in Christ that this can be done. Left to ourselves, we'd spend our whole day thinking about ourselves. It takes the grace of God and a humble heart to say, “God, I can't break free from the chains of this mind of mind that want to govern me. My thinking in my life. It wants to dictate even how I pray. God, I need the power of your Holy Spirit to break free.”
God gives us His incredible grace when we're willing to pray with this faith and desperation. It's time to humble ourselves.
It's time to pray.
