A Place We Must Go With God

In Matthew 16:24–25, Jesus said, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.’”
If we try to preserve our dignity and avoid the mockery of those who doubt the supernatural life that God offers, we will miss out on God's plans. There is a place we must go with God; I call it a journey to the other side of the cross.
As followers of Jesus, we will inevitably face a dark night of the soul, a time of deep struggle and testing. Let's embrace the journey to the other side of the cross and surrender to God's plan for our lives. Let's trust that He will bring forth incredible life and power if we obey and follow Him. Talk to God about it.
