• Interview went well, maybe putting together numbers or already have numbers in mind
  • Think about:
    • Notice, start date, negotiations
  • Be clear on expectations
    • What do you want
    • What you'll say yes to
    • What will be too low
      

Timeline:

• Final interview to yes extend an offer: 0-3 days
• Verbal offer alignment: 0-3 days; total: 0-6 days
• Offer letter approvals: 1-5 days; total: 1-11 days
• Offer acceptance: 0-2 days; total: 1-13 days
• Background check: 2-10 days; total: 3-23 days
• 2 week notice: 14 days; total: 17-37 days
  

Offer letter:

• Make sure you understand everything
• Ask questions
• Compensation
  • Salary or hourly
  • Bonuses / commission
  • Benefits
• Start date
• Non competes / IP / etc.
  

Decide whether to accept, counter or decline

Notice:

• Always leave on good terms
• 2+ weeks notice
