- Your leader trusts you to do your work
- Know what you want / need
Flexibility could be:
- Hours
- Days
- Working from home
- Shifting focus
- Shifting workloads
- Work from family member's home
- Adjusting goals
- Changing expectations
Asking your leader for flexibility:
- Let them know what you're looking for
- Let them know why you're looking for it
- Assure them your quality / quantity of work will not decrease
- Assure them your work is high priority
- Offer to set up check-ins each week
- Let them know how it will help and the benefits
- Lay out the structure you're set up so they know you'll be successful
