Pushkin. Hi. I'm Eddie Alterman. I'm an automotive journalist from Detroit and the former editor in chief of Car and Driver in New York. It's what you wear, right, It's your clothing, it's your fashion. In the middle of the country, it's your car. But let's be honest, I'm really just a car freak. I love cars, even the bad ones. Car sit of the intersection of everything design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, energy, infrastructure. But when you get right down to it, the most fascinating thing about cars is what they say about us, what they say about our culture. Cars are rolling anthropology. I guess there's a kind of some for every kind of car. People love talking about their jeeps. I think the minivan in some ways also projected that you know,

I am committed. You know I'm a committed parent. It's like I always picture like a Miami Vice type person in one of these cars. Each week on my new podcast, Car Show, I'll tell the stories of some pretty epic cars, the ones that have changed how we drive and live, whose significance lies outside the scope of horsepower or miles per gallasses, just blues with the back of my head, no doubt.
