Episode description

After three years of political wrangling in the U.K., Brexit finally appears to be moving forward. As the U.K. prepares to leave the European Union, Capital Group economist Robert Lind and political economist Talha Khan share their views on what’s coming next and how it might affect European trade and economic growth in the years ahead.

Your host Matt Miller is the policy and communications advisor for Capital Group. An author and former Washington Post columnist, Matt was co-host of the public radio program Left, Right & Center.

Robert Lind is an economist with 31 years of industry experience, two with Capital Group. He previously worked as group chief economist at Anglo American and head of macro research at ABN AMRO. Robert earned a bachelor's degree at Oxford.

Talha Khan is a political economist with 10 years of industry experience, all with Capital Group. He holds a master's in international political economy from the London School of Economics and a bachelor's in economics and political science from Macalester College in Minnesota.
