Episode description
The scent of sage clung in the air as Saguache (suh-WATCH) county police officers entered the Moffat, Colorado, house of Miguel Lamboy on April 28, 2021. It didn't take them long to discover what they had been sent for. Miguel, a quiet and serene background member of a group called Love Has Won, had walked into the Salida police department that day to report that he had discovered a deceased mummified female corpse in a back room of his house. Mother God. When Miguel confronted the seven adults that were in the house, members of his religious group that he had been letting live on his property off and on for years, they took Miguel's two-year-old son and refused to return him to his father. When the police entered the back bedroom, they saw a room decorated with rainbows, hearts and stars, stuffed animals perched above a body wrapped in a sleeping bag. She was draped with Christmas lights and the area around her now empty eye sockets was covered in pink glitter makeup. Her teeth were showing through her lips. Mother God had shed her physical vessel, but, Has Love actually Won?
Pink Lemonade Slushie Margarita
- One pink lemonade slushie from McDonalds (or 2 parts pink lemonade in a pinch)
- 2 parts tequila
- 1 part triple sec
- Simple syrup to taste
- Add all ingredients to a blender
- Add extra ice if desired
- Blend well
- Add to salt-rimmed glass and enjoy, perhaps with some French fries?
