In the United States, indigenous women are the ethnic group that is most at risk to be stalked, raped and murdered. And often, these crimes are not prosecuted or even investigated. No arrests. No charges being brought. Across the United States, there are thousands of unsolved cases involving Native Americans. In the last five years alone, almost 7,000 Native girls have gone missing in the United States. Though in America, the indigenous population is only about 1.6 percent of the entire population, a staggering 40% of girls and women sex trafficked in the United States are indigenous. Today we explore the life and crimes committed against Kaysera Stops Pretty Places, an 18 year old high school senior whose life was frozen in time, much like so many other indigenous girls.
