Russia Brandon what are we talking about today? Oh today we're talking. Talking about white russian why Russian? And not that gross milk and vodka. Is that what it is? Well, the only the only reason why people constantly think about that is the, dude, The Big Lebowski have you seen that movie?
I'm gonna sound like a really shitty person, but no, you're not a shitty person a scene, but it's the dude, man. He would drink White Russians, the whole time and yeah, I agree with you there. Just disgusting like, I mean, for me, personally, I'm not an alcohol consumer anymore. I am straight cannabis, it's only green solutions for me but, you know, it's this white russian. It actually had me thinking about it really did because it was such an amazing, amazing humble.
What type of strain is this? Yeah, so white russian is a sativa, based dominant hybrid. So it's grown from the strains AK-47, which Is a sativa dominant hybrid itself and then White Widow which is a very dominant sativa string. Oh man, I'll tell you this. Train was very surprising to me because what you had told me about that really funny story about that guy. Who's like yeah bro I I do too I partake and came over and you know what?
I'm not going to tell you. Tell it this is a White Russian story, so it's hilarious. Yeah. So Had a friend, come over, hadn't seen him in years, something like that. Anyway, we were talking about coffee and cannabis and he comes over and he's like, hey what do you want to partake of? And I'm like well that depends. I've got like seven is different strains right now. So you tell me and I pull out blue dream and my buddy Casey goes all I love Blue Dream as having guys like, ya know, blue
dreams, weak sauce. Do you have anything stronger? And I'm like, well, I mean I have this white russian. That's pretty good. We could try that and so we start smoking that. He takes really big head off the bong and maybe 20 minutes later I would say he's a little slower on his stories and then Tosses a stone up in the air and runs out the door. And I didn't see him again. So, yeah, apparently it was good stuff. So the reason why I brought this up, not just for the story, I
will the story. I was like, I was expecting his Brandon's like you gotta try this white russian. It's pretty awesome. All right, I'll try it. So I get it and I take my first, you know, few hits. I'm not feeling. I'm using a Pax, three shout out to packs and I'm using that. That and if you ever use a Pax, it's very strange because it has this, it's not an edible High necessarily I would say. But it's like this weird delayed
high. Like, by the time you're at the end of smoking your bowl, you'll actually start to feel it and then it comes on really strong right at the top of the head, like almost a skull. Just the top of my skull. Yeah, I felt it into my temples. Yeah.
And then temples and it would ride up very light in the shoulders and that's usually like There are certain sativas like Pineapple Express. Like I feel it deep in my shoulders, up my neck into the sides of my ear on the side of the skull, but this one not so much and then like a few minutes later it really hit hard. And I was like, whoa, this feels good and shortly after maybe 20, 30 minutes. I don't know, I just felt really relaxed but not high anymore.
Like I feel good but I didn't feel like I was flying. Yeah. You didn't have the same, you 4:00. Levels. But you were just, you're nice. Yeah, I was totally nice so good and it made me just go how this is one of those ones where you've had a really just kind of an off day. We were talking about it like you know you ever have those days where you just feel shitty you just like I don't want to be
around humans. Yeah. Was like this last weekend and then yesterday yeah I didn't feel it. Yeah it is. I don't want to deal with it but this just kind of took the edge off And my wife and I were wrapping presents for kids and you know, me, I fucking love that. Yeah. It's like the like your habitat your hobby. Yeah. Last time I catch you in July just ripping shit.
Just love wrapping it. And I was just like, I'm done with this, but I had a little bit of white russian and for the next two and a half hours, we wrap presents and I was totally fine, how's it feel great throwing jokes and having a good time. So I don't know. I've been you know, as ever Restrain that comes over there might necessarily converter, but I would say this is just a really good chill sativa. Hi. This is a sativa how you could have during the day or at night?
Yeah, it's very clear-headed, it's not like a cloudy high. So it's great for like creativity has a lot of energy and Euphoria like at the beginning and then you know, kind of settles down to that more relaxed and just enjoyable State very happy and uplifted. Yeah, and I mean you'll read throughout that, I mean, of course it's super funny when you like going Leafly they're like, you know.
Dry mouth like a, I don't know one strains like, you know, I had an overactive saliva gland while I smoke this. I just, I couldn't stop drooling it. I think that's like numeral drop was just my mouth was just salivating and couldn't. I couldn't even talk. It sounds like that's why I'm no one does. Hit us up. If you do, I want to see it on top of it. One of the things that Brandon Brown up, I mean, does help out creativity and when you look at the stress factor, it's pretty high anxiety.
It helps a lot with which, for a sativa that's that's not Necessarily unique. But that's pretty nice because there are some to sativas that you know like my brother he's like I can't smoke sativa just gets me too anxious my brother-in-law, same thing. He's like if I have sativa makes me feel super tight. I don't know what you're talking about. I wonder if there's specific strains that they've tried, or if it's just in general, they stay away from sativa just because they had a bad
experience. I think it's just a bad experience. I mean, there's there's some indicas that I've had that have put me in Two crazy, paranoia crazy, just tightness in the chest, can't breathe, blood, pressures going, super high. Just not a good, a good idea. And that's why you guys need to have CBD on hand CBD with in a dropper, probably preferred a gummies. Yes, sure. But again, there's a delayed reaction on that Edibles. Take, 30 minutes, top right,
good end. And that's usually if you have like nanotubes, Eh, C or something in there. Yeah, exactly. And this is, you know, that that is always the cautionary. But on the flower side, this is where I've had it on flower. I've had only white russian in flower. I Brendan have you had a new baby now have you had an index tracks. Now I haven't has this would be a unique one because the feeling that you get from extracts is completely different from the flower, it's completely different.
And when I say x track, I'm Brandon, I usually partake of dabs or wax but not necessarily Vape. And I would be interested to be able to find this innovate. Like it's grown in Spain, France, Italy, in California. So mostly West coaster Europe through there. So yeah, maybe in California we have some some live resin pens
or something down there. Hmm that you know, have some White Russian I would White Russian, I would rank this pretty, it's a pretty middle-of-the-road, this isn't necessarily something. I would go to all the time. I like it but I get to know how you felt on a brand, but I felt like it lasted but not a long enough time. I felt like it didn't last long enough.
Yeah, there are a lot of strains that they come down super quick and it's like it's a nice feeling, but it's It's not a lasting feeling with it and it's like, okay well it's a very mild. Yeah, very mild, very nice. Like you said you could do it first thing in the morning. You could do it late at night like this is a strain that's not overbearing. It is a little bit energetic. Like you get that head. High helps with introspection or creativity or sitting in wrapping presents for two hours.
Yeah, and I'd almost think of this like they - diffuser because say Like you're having an argument with your significant other or maybe even your child, or your neighbor, or anybody. If you were able to go, take a couple hits off of this and what a couple, I mean, in either a full bowl or, you know, a couple hits off your pain. And if you have a dab rig, I mean, if you've got that time and dedication to fire one of those up, then, whole, go for it unless you have one of those. Cool.
Puff goes, the peak. Yeah, that thing is pretty, dope. Yeah, it just came in the The mail today. So we just tried it out. It's pretty awesome idea, grass. It is definitely one of those smoke first, then interact. So you can, you know, get those times where your agitation is super high and you're just like if I say something, I'm going to regret it and I need to walk
away. Take a couple hits, come back saying, I don't know what I was thinking with all that shit going on. Like I'm just I'm okay though, like it's one of those I'm okay highs That's my recommendation for anything if you're ever in an argument or ever frustrated, go spoke about it. Mmm. Go smoke about it. And then come back, and it really won't be a big of a deal. So then you can tell her how you feel. Look at Billy Joel's, and it's a hat on vinyl. It's beautiful.
It is, it is. Well, let's go with the on a food side. I'm going to say I'm looking for dried fruit on something like this, something. Thing that's not like I'm a frequenter of Costco's. Well like most people I get a lot of their dried mangoes. Not the not the ones covered in sugar and the apricots. I will caution of the apricots though. Only a handful. If you go too crazy. Yeah, that sucks. But it's you know, I just think of something lightly sweet but not overbearingly sweet.
What about you funny enough that you mentioned the mangoes from Costco because Is I was smoking on this train, that's exactly what I was sitting there munching on. Was the not sugar-coated? Dried mangos here because ganic ones. Yeah, I love that. It's super tasty, so good. Yeah, this train is surprising me for being a sativa. It's great for like anxiety and depression. Hmm. For being with like a very heady hi. Same with like attention deficit disorders.
It's been used for people with that same. I'm with chronic pain and inflammation, really? Yeah, because you notice after it settled down, it was more relaxing in the body after. Yes. So that once it sinks down, that's when people notice that help. And that, it was like a almost
an even flow over. My CB1 receptors in my body, to be able to go towards anything because it's funny, you say that I have a rotator cuff injury on my left arm, and after we had had, you know, from you know, your puff Co I don't feel it as much. Like I asked, it's light. It kind of hurts an ache, but knowing that white russian can kind of just dissipate throughout the whole body and keep a light buzz in the head. Like, you can, like you said, you can do pretty much anything on this.
You can work on a car. Oh yeah. I love blacks or sense here. That guy riding motorcycle. Doing anything on this high wire. Yep. Some rock climbing pole dance. Thing, whatever it takes. I well, hi holding swords. I mean, you and right there. Fun fact about this train. This was actually considered to be one of the strongest strains in the world. Back in 1996, really is some
weak bitches back then. Not yeah I mean I know that I didn't really start smoking to help maybe 2006 and the quality from then till now. So, Can I say maybe June 10 hour before that? But it mean back then you know, if you don't know, you don't know. So it's a pretty cool. All right? Yeah, wonderful strain. Give it a, give it a check in your local dispensary.
