Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles. And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you about everything pertaining to cannabis from vape, flour, edibles. Strains. And everything in between. Welcome back. Hey, hey, hey. Happy Tuesday. Yeah, don't worry about it. So. We're going to be smoking some new stuff from Not Dragonfly, Betty Peer Plan or our local plug.

It's black sheep. Ohh wow, that's a new one for us. It looks like it might be grown by standard Wellness. Yeah, and I gotta be honest, your nugs were pretty, pretty sad. Looking. Well, yes, and for me. It was sad. When I pulled it out and I was looking at it, it was a realization that the nug itself was really dark flower. Yeah, and they're really dense little tiny bugs. Colored or amber colored trichomes, but really tight dense nugs, super tiny.

So I was really surprised on that, but and the nose. So my grinder, I had ground up last night, white diesel. There was no flour left in the grinder, however. Reeked. Yeah, so Jesse had shown me this and the strain we're smoking today is not white diesel. It is. Cake Crasher. Cake crasher and cake crasher. When he opened the flour, I smelt the flour in the jar and it smelt.

It smelled actually not too bad and then I opened the grinder that had flour ground up in it last night and had no more flour in it. Had an overwhelming smell of white diesel. And then when I went back to try and smell the jar, I couldn't smell the jar at all. I was like what the hell? So the notes are subtle on the

smell, but. I, I usually equate it to I, I think one of the things that I've loved about certain growers, especially when you get growers from the Northwest, right, Northern California, Oregon, Washington, you get really fluffy, really good sized nugs And I, I prefer to smoke like that. The dry ones I don't mind, but I like them a little bit more popcorny. These ones were tiny, little dense nugs.

The reason why I was really disappointed was almost like I got the jar where somebody, the whoever was trimming just went. Yeah, all the little tiny nugs at the end it felt like. But maybe that's all it was was really tiny dense nugs for the entire grow. Yeah, I but then it makes me question the grow because when we looked at like dragonflies, not one look like that they all look like premium cut even they're lower and. That small and tiny.

What they consider lower end, which is just lower THC is really beautiful looking nugs and the smell. And they don't get hand trimmed, so that's the difference like buddy and that isn't hand trimmed, so they get like the machine trim and it's still packaging, but fantastic products. This one has CBC, CBCA as well as CBGA. So it got 9.93 milligrams of

CBGA and 3.98 of the CBCA. So CBC or cannabicromine is a non psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis and it's one of the big six cannabinoids that has been extensively studied and is often overshadowed by more well known like THCCBD. Here are the points about CBC. So the characteristics precursor cannabinoid. So I wonder if that follows CBG, then I wonder if it's in the stages.

Yeah, lower abundance of CBC is typically found in lower concentrations in cannabis plants compared to THC and CBD, but it is still considered valuable. So a lot of the things are anti-inflammatory, pain relief, mood regulation, neuroprotection. I'm thinking like it. It talks about encouraging neurogeneticists in the formation of new brain cells, so it helps with that antibacterial and antifungal skin health. That's pretty cool, dude. Yeah.

CBC products are typically found in Wellness, pain management, mood enhancement and skin care. Interesting. Crazy. Yeah. CBC Cannabis, Cannabis Chromine. Yeah, that was a very interesting one. Anything with Chrome sounds shiny to me, right? I thought it was interesting that it's a precursor cannabinoid because I know CBG is the original mother of all cannabinoids. So I wonder maybe this is something we'll have to look in is what the journey of cannabinoids take through the

process of the grow. You know, because obviously if it starts as CBG, what does it take to next wizz it like lighting? What is it that changes or alters that cannabinoid to go to CBDCBCCBTHC? You know that it takes on that journey so. Dude, here's a video that you you just made me think of of where this there was this scientific breakdown of this girl who's asked by a guy online to put an egg in the microwave

for 5 minutes. And the guy breaks down all the math of what's going to happen to the egg. OK. And it was very fascinating. You just said a bunch of stuff that was very fascinating. Oh, that's fantastic. That was awesome because I'm like, you were saying that and I was like science.

So this this. Strain is very chatty, but it's also not a like, it's not a terrible daytime 1. I don't know if I could sit and work with it, but it's like when I'm thinking and we're having conversations, it can jump from one thing to the next. Yeah, you, you Jesse had a conversation like crazy in the last one and so did I. But it and it was fun. I was like, oh, he's like me. But you know what I I do like about it too, is that it's mild

on the pain, pain relief. So I if tennis elbow really bad. Had it just right now, especially with the cold. You know, honestly, it's just because I'm old. I find that my injuries. Take the last two days with this cold front. My back has felt so fucking rough. Dude right here. I broke my collarbone. When I was 18, that's. Been acting up right now. Dude, it feels like get like, you ever seen those things that they used to, like, break the glass a little nub on the bottom of a knife.

All right, Put that into the top of your collarbone. And then I want you to have somebody put it on their sternum and then just lean but slowly and then stay where it's the most painful. And I was literally talking to my wife's grandfather, and it hit me and I went and he's like, are you OK? And I'm like, yeah, old injury. It's just flaring up for some reason. Keep talking. Yeah, it's so incredibly painful. This like cold.

Coming is. I mean, even though it's got CBC, which is very cool to learn about that. Mild. Super mild. It's such a minor, I feel a. Lot of the back pain still this morning with that strain, it's not taking away a lot of it. No. Just the sharpness, like a tinge of the sharpness out of it is gone, but most of the pain is still there. I would consider this more of an entertainment strain so if you want to go watch a movie and not get like it, it would be cool to watch.

Like honestly like Mission Impossible like I used to have been watched the new Mission Impossible movie. I wanna watch it just cause of action. A new one. Oh yeah. OK, yeah, that'd be cool. Yeah, it's just like straight action. Yeah. Oops. OK. Yeah, alright. They, I mean, they pulled him away and they, they filled him up full of Botox and they're like, hey, do you wanna jump off? Shit. He's like, what? Yeah, let's do it. That's insane.

But yeah, you could watch that movie and because it's moving around so fast, you can enjoy it. I don't think you could watch like a very thoughtful movie. Oh, real deep, yeah. Like here's a movie that I consider extremely boring, not scary, don't know how to place it. It's Midsummer. Yeah. So fucking boring. It was, it was really slow. It was. And what's? Up with the actressing she's. Pretty, but she's not I I don't. She's just so weird.

She was in Dune. She plays the Princess of the King. Oh yeah, she's got all that fucking bedazzled shit hanging off of her right. Interesting. She's in Midsummer and. It was such a weird movie. Dude, it started out like I was gonna be like, it's gonna be like be. Culty, yeah, but like, it's not scary, it's not suspenseful. It's just like. It's boring. Yeah, it was. Really boring. It reminds me of The Village if you ever watched that. The Village was really boring to me too.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a scary movie. The coolest? Part was when you thought that there was an actual monster and it just turned out somebody in a fucking yeah. That pissed the whole movie wasn't like it wasn't scary. I was really disappointed with that one. I was like. I mean no movie I've heard is really good long legs with. Nicholas was it was. Did you see it? Yeah. Emily and I went and saw that. And Emily, it wasn't really scary. No. Suspenseful.

Yeah, more suspenseful like. Silence of the Lambs. Like, I love silence. I haven't seen that in ages. Such a good. Movie it was. It was really well done. Did you ever watch the series of Hannah Hut? Yeah, that is better than all of them. Oh my God. Michael Mads. Yeah, it was so well done. I really loved that TV. Actor. Dude, His accent is so unique. So well, yeah. For that character, I was just like, Oh my. God, every time he was cooking I felt hungry and I'm like but.

That I know, but the idea used to be people. Yeah, yeah, I know it's not, but. But his accent, I I don't even know how to do his accent. You ever seen the movie Polar on Netflix? Watch that. Is he in that? Oh, it's good. Oh, OK. It's good. I love. British accents he's not. British. No, he's like Norwegian or something. There was going back Top Gear because that's what my pleasure

has been. But they were, they had on a British actor and they're like, oh, it's it's interesting because you play a lot of villain roles, isn't it? And he's like, yeah, yeah. It's weird because when you go over to America, they just assume that because you're British, you're going to play a villain really well. And so they always cast you into that type of role just because of your accent. Isn't that funny?

It's like all the really good, like, superhero actors are British. Yeah, but they play Americans. Yeah. Like, what's his name? Tom. Is that Captain America guy? No, No. Chris Evans is American. No Tom Holland, who played Spider Man. Yeah. He's not. He's British. He's British, he's a tiny dude. He's like 5455. I think Finn's really into him, I think. He's a cool actor. He he recently has is in recovery from alcoholism and just this whole onslaught of fame.

It really fucked him up, dude. And it's it's just I feel bad, but it it yeah. But anyways, think about. That though, and I, I feel like it would actually be really shitty and hard to be in that position. Yeah, like, because I, I think about it and it's like even even Bennett, you know, where people or rich people in general, anyone who has some sort of value that they're really tied to. And it's like, do they like me for me or are they just here because of this, for my money,

for my fame, for my because. Oh, that's Tom Holland, because it's, you know, whoever versus I really like who this person is. I love who this human is and I enjoy spending that time with them. You know what I think they would appreciate more than fandom? Just appreciation. Hey, I love your work. It's like an artist. Yeah, you don't. You don't see, like, maybe, maybe like mobs of women chasing down this one artist, throwing their panties at them, going. Oh my gosh, you believe?

Your work sit on, let me sit on your face. Oh, my gosh, That picture of that cow is amazing. And so lifelike, right? And it's just. Yeah, it's not moving. Yeah. Those panels were wet. They were. Pretty sick, but it it's it it just it I, I would appreciate like I met one I met 1 actor in oh, I mean I met a lot of actors over time, but it was the coolest interaction because it didn't make it a big deal. And I met Henry Winkler, who a

lot of people won't know. So he's the original Fonzie from happy Days was ATV show in the 70s. I'm not that old but I do remember that show and he was in the waterboy. OK, I know. He is he is the coach that got a tattoo of Roy Overson on his ass. He goes what your mom doesn't know won't matter upset that he pulls out his pants to show his ass cheek with the Roy Overson. My dad and I were in Atlanta in the in ATL airport and as we're there my dad's like hungry.

We have a massive layover, like 2 hours. So I was like, let's just get something to eat. And the only decent place there was Wolfgang Pucks and it wasn't really expensive at the time. We sit down, start eating it and my dad grabs my arm and he goes luck. And then I saw an old dude sitting at a table and I'm like, yeah, he's eating too crazy. And I went back to eating. I was imagine I'm like if I wasn't about edibles, I'd be like, what? Hey man, I love your work bro.

But that's how he, my dad was out and I'm like, I saw him and all I did was I raised my glass to him. I said, love your work. And he goes, thank you and went back to eating his food. And that was it. That was the end of the interaction. Like if somebody came up to us, it's like how we've been treated sometimes by cannabis people. They're they're like, Oh my gosh, it's you. Hey, I like your work. Cool. Thank you.

I don't know. I met I guess I on an on a bus coming out of Dallas Airport years and years ago. Me and my ex were on a tram and there was like the black doctor on scrubs. Oh yeah, I don't. Know his name 'cause I'm terrible with him but. Well, I mean, he wasn't. I mean, he wasn't one of those actors that you would remember. Him and his wife were sitting right across the aisle from me and my I turned to her and we're like that and we Google it and I was like oh that that is them.

But then we just talked to them, not about acting, not about anything, just about their day, about the flight, like just about life, and then went on their day like they were people didn't acknowledge that I knew who they were, anything else. It was just like they were any other person on that. Bus and I bet that felt amazing. And I'm like, but that's how I would want to be treated because I don't want to be like, I think it would be so obnoxious to have people taking pictures or like,

Oh my gosh, can I do this? Like I, I just want to walk. I just want to like, how many times are you or just wanting to be doing whatever you're doing and not having someone come up and like, oh man, hey, there's this and you're like, shit, I got all this other stuff. Like right now I don't want to focus on this or like feel like I need to be on or entertaining or or doing whatever. I just I don't have to.

Worry about it, dude. It's like the the Keanu Effect because like Keanu Reeves just doesn't give a fuck. And when he's out there, he's just nice. Yeah. Like, you've seen those videos of him, like on the on the subway and he gets up for a pregnant woman to take a seat just 'cause he's just trying to be a nice guy. Yeah, Not because it's a man and she's a woman. It's because he's trying to be.

Nice guy, pregnant lady there and he's just like as a person, this is what I would do. And, and it makes you think about, 'cause he saw on that subway and there's all these people around him and nobody's like fawning over him. Somebody was like, yeah, Oh my God, it's Ken Reeves. And he's like, where am I going? I I got to pick up these things. I got to pick up my prescription and he's got to do regular human

shit, right? He could be going somewhere getting laxatives because the guy isn't poor. Guy isn't taking a shit in three days. Who knows. Yeah, human stuff. Human stuff and and it's just chill. And that's why I want to treat those people, but that's the way I want to be treated. Yeah, exactly. I I can't imagine having to worry. Like, I don't mind. I love meeting new people, talking with people like. No problem. That's awesome. Fantastic.

But just I think that that life of just constantly being in the limelight and like everything you do is just under a microscope and like people just give too many fucks. Yeah, but weird shit too, yeah. Really weird, really dumb shit. You know, it's there's a really good depiction of how I thought that, like, celebrities should be treated.

Watch the movie Tombstone and they have these actors back in the 1800s that would come through towns and they would be like a Playhouse and they would act out parts of Shakespeare or whatever and they were revered. They were treated like, oh, that was so amazing. You would get people where their whole lives are just working with their hands. They don't they they work everyday to survive.

And this fancy person comes into town and says all this flower language and it's entertaining and it's like you can be taken away from your life of hard life to something nice. And and the way they treat this guy in the bar after and they're like, come sit with us. Come, let us get you a drink or food, right. And celebrated him going, Oh, he

came in and they clap. That would be better for a celebrity coming in going, Hey, I loved you in your last movie, Anal explorers 36. You know, nobody's doing that for a porn star. No one. Maybe, I don't know, I don't know, maybe they do that at their awards. Right, here's a thing of McDonald's fries. He has some ketchup. And here's a 35 dildo with a shoulder strap and a kickstand. Definitely needs a kickstand. Yeah. And then it has like a gas operated. Yeah, wait. Oh, that's weird.

Tesla hasn't brought in their new. Electric models yet no. This one's self driving. You'd think they would. I mean, he's got the flamethrower, right? Boring Company comes out with the Hip Wrecker. Oh, that's a 2025 product for sure. Yeah, you can imagine Eli coming up. I believe that masturbation is quite flawed. What we need to do is create powerful machines. Powerful machines? Yeah, just fuck. The women to submission.

Yeah, you, you rob them of all of their oxytocin by being able to because you start it up in it's gas powered. I know I'm bringing into solar. We'll we'll use solar panels and you're like, damn, dude, like a backpack on it and shit like that's where my mind is gone. This strain is fun. It is. You should go check it out. It's worth. It's worth it. Strangest thing, huh? I'm dry mouth only in the center of my my tongue. Rest of my mouth feels. Totally fine like actually. Feels like wet.

This is weird. That is a really weird now that you say it like it is, it is just. It's like right in the middle and it's like, and I'm like, oh, I don't want to open my mouth because it's going to click. But the rest of my mouth feels just fine. Super strange. This is more of a sativa strain, a lot of lemonade and little all in there, so you're not going to

get the racy heart. It does make you feel a little antsy towards the end of it. That's why we've been and if you take a lot more it will make you feel a little antsy. I will say this, I have partnered this with other strains like BlackBerry Moonshine and also OGP. OK, Yeah. Great mix. Another really great thing to do. I had a jams, I had a 5 milligram sativa edible and this it lasted like 2 1/2 hours and I felt like this. What in the world from a sativa edible and there.

And this, it was awesome. I just felt so good. That's fantastic. I I. Could it was one of those like again, like I said on one of our other episodes floating on the river. Yeah, that's. What it feels like. The sun isn't it? It would be like if you control the temperature of the sun to like just just slightly warm and no burn but you can still see it. Yeah. Come on Elon, make it. Get with the program. Build us something we want.

Yeah, I, I, I made this tube to be able to be self supporting. This tube that's called a straw, Yeah. Yeah, if we're going to give it a good name. This is the brobovan. Right, this is. Is that the best name you could come up with bro? Robovan. Robovan. Robovan. Robovan. That'd be awesome. What the fuck? No, dude, I love the yeah, I I loved where he called it not a flamethrower. So the the Hip Destroyer would totally make sense. Yeah, exactly.

And it has like certain it's voice activated. That's the worst part. Definitely pair it with like Alexa or Siri or something like hey turn on this.

Ohh no, it's too much. Turn it down yeah now it totally changes everything going hey Alexa Preheat my rig and then they goes like you guys have a damn rig My voice I operated no and all you hear in the next room is like it just sounds like like a like when it when it goes it's like a jackhammer, but you're not hitting you know concrete no oh man. I don't even want to make that sound 'cause everybody will be like. That's OK, maybe you can find that on Cannabis School Approved.

You should go check out our new site here soon. Yeah, absolutely. That's on there. And if you're a dispensary Q&P product company and you're wanting to advertise, get a hold of us, you are going to go nuts for this one. This is absolutely crazy. We are going to crush it with the cannabis world. We are now being able to provide more products to you guys across the United States and across the world soon. Hell yeah. And for everyone at home, we

love you guys. Thanks for tuning in, for sticking with us. Don't miss next week. Yeah, take care.
