And everything in between. Hey everybody. Hey. Welcome back. It is a beautiful day. It's. It's cold as. Shit, it's super fucking smoggy too. Utah is known for its snow, which we don't have a lot this right now. We're still pretty early in the winter.
It can change because people are like, oh, there's no like. And usually comes later anyway. I feel like January, January, February. Get a ton. Yeah, and usually goes late. You're going like May. There's been times where we've had snow even in. July. In July, yeah, there was a day that it was 70°. It got cold, I got 6 inches of snow, it melted and got back to 70 in the same day. Yeah, it's crazy. I was like. What the fuck? It's it's it's nuts up. But we're also known for our smog.
Yeah, we have one of the dirtiest airs in all that and the reason why we live in a base. Yeah, and the the Mog won't go. Anywhere the mountains are beautiful but. Traps it all in. You can see a difference on the on the east side, it's not as smoggy, but on the West side, like where I live, it is so smoggy. But you know what? It's still a beautiful day. It's cold as shit. And you know why? It's a beautiful day, Brandon. Why is it a beautiful day, Jessie?
Two things we're going to be going over today. One, we're going to introduce a new strain, and two, we're going to play with this amazing, cool looking bong from Jet Filtration. I know, I'm really stoked. This thing is pretty cool. We'll talk more in depth about the product and what it is, but before we go any further, what strain are we going to be partaking? We're going to be checking out Blue City Diesel.
Blue City Diesel, This is a unique strain, so it's a mix of blueberry and New York City Diesel. This is a split. This is a hybrid indica, sativa sativa. On the shorter side, 40 percent, 60% indica. So you're going to get a lot of the, I don't know, it's not really heady, is it 'cause you've you've already had this, so it's your first. It's not super heady, but it is a nice, like, it's a pretty balanced experience there. Oh, that's cool.
And we just pulled this out of the Canador actually. It's like a cannabis humidor specific thing. Oh, it's super nice. It's made from Walnut Walnut, this really, really pretty box and it was like $250. Box. That's not bad, especially with those who are more concerned about where you live in the humidity and being able to keep your cannabis, you know, relatively fresh. I mean, there's multiple ways you can do it, the funniest way I've ever heard.
Maybe you guys do this, but putting it in their freezer or putting it in their fridge? Putting their cannabis in there thinking that it will keep it longer. I've done that with concentrates when they're really running or something because I want them at a specific consistency. Yeah 'cause nothing. Well, if you think about it too, if you go in from a freezer then you thought, then you don't use all of it. Yeah, you get moisture. It would be terrible mold, mold, and that's a really horrible
thing to have in your flower. And not only that, you water and flour. Just don't mix unless you're making a tea. And this is such an interesting looking piece. That's pretty cool. Like the the it's got a four stage percolators that sound really cool. You're probably gonna be hearing that, right? You'll be see a little video right now of the of the way that the water come pulled up and you'll be able to see Brandon take a pull off this one. But it's a it's a really cool design.
But going back to the strain, I'm really curious because I've experienced indicas that are more sativa feeling and again it goes to the the terps and all the other stuff but it also goes from the lineage. Like, what are these typically found in? And I think the Indicas it's. Blueberry and New York City Diesel is what this one the mixed with and. Blueberry is one of my absolute
this. I think this is the best of both worlds and the reason why I say that is that blueberry is known for a lot of its calming effects on your indigestion system. So whenever I get a really bad upset stomach and recently I lost 10 lbs from getting really sick. But. Now you look like me, bro. Yeah, not even close. Do you have malnourished child from third world country? Well, there we go. There we go. Brandon's are there. Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner.
But you know, you think about what what really works for you as far as the strains are concerned. And what works really well with blueberry is that it helps the stomach. But diesel, especially New York City Diesel, is great. Sour Diesel falls into the same thing. Helps with migraines, helps with headaches, helps with. And this one's like a really uplifted, euphoric, yeah, happy strain. Like this one. This is the best of all. This is a one of the best and I'm really excited to try.
This is one of the best I would consider in the medicinal spots of gut. You should have Grahams. Yeah, you really should. This is a a very cool. Oh, you want me to try that out? OK, well, I'm gonna give this one a go. Yeah. You should just have greens. I feel like it's just a perfect strain this. Is really? Cool. For like, yeah. That's a pretty decent sized bowl.
It is a big sized bowl. I was impressed with how deep it is, but it has its own filter on the bowl too, like its own screen, so you won't pull through. Oh. Well, you got to pull hard on that. Yeah, it has a lot of water, so you got to pull through. Weird. Oh, you got to try that now it's, oh, very slight hint of blueberry in there. You definitely get that gassy strain feel. That's pretty boat. That's pretty strong. You really got to pull that in. It is. It's some work to pull it
through there. Holy. Shit, yeah, like you got to, you got to have some strong lungs on that. But I think what's really cool? About this so smooth. It's super smooth, like no cough whatsoever. That was a big. Hit. Yeah. Well, that's the thing I was worried about. Like, here, let me hit it again. Yeah. I mean. Tell us what you feel on it, like what was? Experienced right in my head. Straight to my head, because the last strain we did wasn't very heady at all. Incredibly clear.
This is still clear but I feel it shoot up from like lowering my body that. Was a big hit. Yeah. And I'll tell you what, a little cough. I know it's pretty smooth for that, like taking that big of a hit. Look at that. Look how Milky it's. Still full? Fuck me. I wonder if you pull the ball the ball out, if it'll be easier to. I mean, it definitely will. I was just keeping it there to keep it in. There. Yeah, it is like right up into
my head, but like it is almost. Oh, we got to do this on the live session. Weird. This thing is cool. Wow. Bro, this is the weirdest head feeling. It's very weird. It's very kind of like Sloshy. It feels kind of strange. The the cool part is, I think it's the delivery. How much did you say this was again? I think there were 220 about 2:15, dude, 220, yeah. Way worth it if you are going to invest into a bong, and I have not used it at all. This is this is our. First experience.
Yeah, because we have had so much product sent to us and thank you everybody who sends it. Thank you so much. But I'll tell you right now, this is something not to sleep on. This is the coolest bong I have ever used, yeah. It's a great kid. It's so strong. Doesn't it have a a carb in the stem? Does it pull down at all, or am I just high imagining things? I think you're just high. OK. All right. But it's real. I mean, it's got multiple layers. The bowl itself is set up really cool.
This is indestructible. Yeah, I was gonna say. You were saying you could, like, throw it? And yeah, I was watching a video. This guy got up on like a tall ass ladder and just threw it on the ground. And I gotta tell you that. Would terrify me. Diesel strains, for me, I typically cough a little bit at the first few hits. Yeah, blueberry. The Terps that are in blueberry, you're definitely gonna get a lot of. I mean like what's the terpene profile on this?
Mirror scene Lemonine and Karyophiline. So a little bit of karyophiline, which is good, I mean, especially if you don't want that cough, but you, I don't take hits that big. Not usually, no. And that was a big fucking hit. It's 'cause it's so hard to gauge because of how hard you have to pull. But the cool thing is, is that it? It's actually forcing. So, you know, that kind of reminds me of of like a a old school shitty bathtub half of a milk carton Gravity bomb I. Never did one of.
Those you never did I dude, it was crazy because the the time I did it, it was at this girl's house and we were all like it was after work. So I was probably like 20-2 and she had her bathtub all set up. Like there was this like crazy looking house, like Indiana Jones's ID had all this like random shit from all over the world, 'cause she was so travelled and very sophisticated. That's a fucking hit, dude. And it feels like a gravity
bong. Like for those of that had it 'cause what you do with the gravity bong, you have this little bowl over there. They light it. You take the top of the milk jug off and then you just, you just, you fill that whole thing at the bottom and you just pull up on that milk jug or whatever you have. And you just keep pulling up. And when you get the desired amount of smoke that you want, you take the cap off and then you put your mouth on it and then you just push down and that
shoots. It right? Into your mouth, dude. And I was like I was a dragon. I was Smaug or whatever his name smog. Right on Lord of the IT was so much smoke. And then even after it's like that funny ass video with Jason Bateman where he takes a hit off a bong and then he coughs and then he stops, he he takes a he blows it all out, then starts coughing and then he starts blowing out some more after the cough. That that's what it felt like.
But this has a very similar feel to a gravity bong, and I already noticed that you are feeling it a lot quicker than you normally do. Well, I also took a big hit and usually I'm not taking as big of a hit. We'll do that bowl. I mean, it's it was. 'Cause I don't wanna cough my lungs. And I'm already seeing it's like halfway. Down, I know. And I'm loving the experience. I feel up very much in my cheeks now. Yes, in the back of my head, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's super weird. It's a little bit of relaxation in my lungs. Yeah. Yeah, I feel good. Not like couchy, just like, you know, I was sore. So it's taking some of that soreness out. What it's crazy too, is look at the water. It's still pretty clear, yeah. I realized as well it has a water line level. That's why it's also twice as much water. So that's why it's really hard to pull through. Well, you know. What? Fuck it, 'cause I I actually like it, dude.
Like it. It really like it, OK, so you fill it to the water line and and the makers of this would be like, you fucking idiots. Like, see how much water kicked? They're like. What the hell man? But but I like it 'cause it kind of feels like a gravity bong if it really forces you to pull. It it would be so much easier though, I bet with half that water. We'll do it on the sesh, yeah. 'Cause. That would that would work really, really well. Because it's I I even like it where it's at.
I mean, I gotta say, because it's so heavy. Yeah, it's so heavy. Like the hit is heavy. Yeah, but it's not. Like and it's really cool. It's nice. It was a nice cooling. Effect. Yeah, that's what I was worried because usually taking that big of a hit off of a normal bong, I'll cough, I can take the hit. It's just more I hate coughing my lungs out. But you don't cough on this. No, I didn't cough at all. It was like nothing. That's pretty cool. That's fantastic.
Out of all the bonds, I would say like if we went for dry pipe, which our favorite is the happy camper? Just 'cause that filtered carbon like carbon. Filter. I just let my brother-in-law borrow my happy camper. I was like, dude, you gotta try this out. And he was. Like, good for you. No way. And I'm like, yeah. And I I showed him that one, 'cause that that was in my closet. And so it just moved. See, that's a reasonable hit
right there. Now I. Feel like it was tiny. Yeah, but I mean it. It's because of the weight of the water. Like you really have to pull. But I actually like that. Like it sounds like a toilet. It's so. Funny, I'm just. Don't let me hit it. Don't let everybody. You guys can hear this is funny as shit. Oh man, yeah, that's super funny. That's fucking hilarious. The one thing this one of the negatives of this one is headaches. I'm guessing this is get sativa
headaches if you smoke too much. Oh. Yeah, like nothing's worth. Like I was telling you about the local one that I'm trying from from that. Dragonfly. Yeah, from Dragonfly. What was this? Dragon J1 Oh well, we'll talk about that. And it's really good, but it tends to give me headaches and it's because it's really strong potency of sativa. Cadillac Rainbows was giving me headaches. I have that alive resin and I was like what the fuck? Like why is my and I'm like just
got to stop. But I do get Berry notes in this one though. And diesel E tones yeah. Oh wait, listen to the toilet. That's great. Because it look nothing like dude, I will get a stronger cough off of a drier vaporizer. Oh yeah, like even off of my my crafty. Oh yeah. No, not the crafty. What do I have? Oh yeah, the crafty plus that one. I love it. But I will still get a good amount of cough on that depending on the strain.
This mine just does. I think it's because of the temperature and even though you have that little straw, you're inhaling 300 and something degree air into your lungs like it feels warm and so it cools down a little but. This is amazing. That's a fantastic experience. This is a great bong. Wow. Like, you know, there's a lot of a lot of push on why glass is better. Or you know, a steel one like we've tried the steel, but that one is really cool. You can get a fucking cold in that.
Thing. Oh yeah. Experience is wild. Yeah, it's. Super nuts. I feel kind of similar on there. I feel that this one actually gives me the best feeling with flower, like in this one I mean. I love that. I didn't cough. That's a huge. That's crazy. That is big. That's crazy. And for the price point, that's amazing. It's a It's a good sized bong. Oh yeah. Right, this is something that you got to find somewhere. To 20 inches, 22, yeah, that's what she said. No, but I mean it.
It's super fantastic for those who are really into flour. You could do moon rocks on there for you you crazy guys. And and that would be even better because you're getting a lot of terps and I'll I mean it's gonna be. The flavor with this is fantastic. Yeah, like, I feel like I get way more terpenes through this filtered one than I deal with. Burning plant where you know that kind of charcoal feel like that taste in your mouth like especially from a dry dry pipe, right?
Which dry pipes are really cool, and if it's in a pinch, sure, but if you have access to this. Or any of the other devices that aren't just a dry pipe. Grandma sent you 300 dollars. 200 bucks, right? Pick up the rest of it. Grab one of these 'cause this is killer. But to the strain, the reason why I'm saying so, Killer. Because OK, now I'm getting a slight headache. Breathing. Yeah, right here. Interesting, That's. Crazy, right? It is so. I'm feeling more relaxation in
my face. Feeling a ton of, I mean, I still feel it in my cheeks, almost in my jaw, the bend. Yeah, it's like settled down now, 'cause it was riding higher. Yeah, it was. And it's kind of it's a strong pressure. It's not crazy. I still feel it between my shoulder blades a good amount. I don't feel it in my chest at all, but I do feel my arms are very relaxed. Yeah, and my legs. I feel like my legs. Oh, this is great. I have neuropathy from being
diabetic. Yeah. And just because of my age and how well I didn't take care of my diabetes for so long it it might my feet hurt like, all the time. Probably even worse in the cold. Oh, it's so bad. Right now. Fuck, man. Like, the best gift I got for Christmas? Socks. Socks. These. Really. They're like thermal socks. I don't know. They sell at Costco. They're three. Pack. You know what I'm. Talking about. Dude, they're so nice. Like, out of every.
I mean, I didn't get a ton of stuff this year. That was my favorite gift was those socks. But I'll tell you right now, even a little while before this, my feet were hurting a little bit. Not so much the trade off. Having a lot of this strain is gonna give you a headache. Yeah, I wouldn't do. That it's not so this is definitely. This is a communal. Strain and a low and slow if you're using the jet. So cool dude, so cool you wouldn't have to use a lot of product.
This is a deep bowl. Well worth is. It ceramic no. That's a type of metal. It feels like aluminum, but it could be ceramic. I don't know. It feels like it in between, but it's it's a lot of a very dense plastic, super easy to pull apart, easy to clean. Yeah, this is a quick yeah, I mean, with ISO I totally get it, 'cause you could break this down to nothing. Yeah, and tears all apart. All the percolators unscrew Like it's super easy, yeah.
Yeah, even though like it, those big hits that I had through that and normally like, my throat would be on fire. It's a little bit, but it's not bad. It's manageable, Nothing like any of the other bongs. Oh yeah, no, this is this is a fantastic strain to be able to try this. I'm disappointed that we waited this long. This is a really impressive. It's an. Amazing piece I I absolute this is we're gonna have to reach out to them. Yeah, we have to use this more often.
Yeah, this is. This is by far the best bong I have ever tried. Period. Yeah, full stop. There might be some others that are out there, and we had reached out to a lot of different ones. These guys were so generous to be able to send US1. I gotta tell you, dude is that is my favorite bong. Like and I am not a bong guy. I am not a bong guy. I it depends. I I always have a guy when I come over. Here, yeah, makes sense 'cause I am.
'Cause you're always down to to smoke a little bubbler, yeah. Well, I always have. Fucking awesome. And well, I got rid of that one finally, because I was. We just got so many other ones. I'm like, I should donate this to a friend, yeah? So, and I'm sure they were super appreciative. Oh yeah, there's it actually just broken. Oh, that's awesome. And I was like, hey, you don't happen to need a piece? And they're like, yeah, mine just broke and I'm like, deal,
You can have this. I have too much shit. This is a fantastic One of the craziest things right now about this strain is that the the Diesel tone is all over my mouth. Right. Yeah. It's just like like I was siphoning out of some. Yeah, it totally is. It is a very, very strong diesel flavor that lingers if you aren't. I. Don't mind it, but I'm I'm getting a bit cottonmouth. I was just, I was gonna say the same thing, that it is a very
dry strain. Which is good, because I mean, there are certain dry strains that no matter how much you drink, you're just dry. That quenched quite a bit of. It. Oh yeah. So this isn't gonna be the one where the lips smackin and and, you know, real dry mouth. It's just more of the like the back of your throat and a little bit of the rest of it. But it's not unmanageable, cottonmouth.
It's just a really good experience, Great for just the I I mean, I am feeling it in my back where it's almost annoying, but it's not bad compared to everything else I'm experiencing. Like the headache is now dissipated and almost gone. Oh, that was sure. Very sure. That's what I do like. I feel like usually if I get a sativa headache, I just don't puff on anything, or I switch to something different, or I take CBD and usually within a handful of minutes it dissipates.
I think that's another important thing you just mentioned is that I took a good amount of CBD before we recorded this episode, 'cause we just did another review and I was just like, you know, this is gonna be hard. That's what I thought was gonna be. I thought, this is gonna be fucking tough because I'm looking at the size of this monster. Like it looks it's taller than any bong. I own it right now. Look at that. Yeah, right. I mean, it's a piece. It's a big ass bong and it's so
cool and it's. Juggle. I like how heavy and sturdy the base. Is. Oh yeah, like. I feel like it's not going to just tip over, and like you said, it's indestructible, so if it does, you don't have to worry about it. Breaking. You're not gonna. I mean, you know, if even if you shot the son of a bitch like it would, all you would have to do is just patch it up with some of that cool shit from, like, those infomercials like, whoa, it's got a hole in your boat.
Duct tape? Yeah, just slap it on there like, oh, no, now it's not leaking. It was like, that's what this reminds me of. This is like a super strong and very reasonably priced. I find that a lot of your typical really good glass is going to cost you about 100 bucks minimum. Oh yeah, Minimum. Minimum. Minimum. And that's like, you know, not like our good friends over at Small. Pieces. Yeah. But like most good pieces are like minimum $100, well, like. Can of style. Yeah.
Like our favorite glass. They're such a cool and it's. They always have fun, unique styles in that they're. So. Cool, Really. Interesting. Shit. The ramen, yeah. The ramen stuff, like, it's just fun, right? It's, it's. Very. Unique, fun, but it's well made glass, Very well made glass and it's pretty strong. I have two of theirs and I love them. They're solid, they're sturdy, but this is a whole different experience. Yeah, this is crazy.
This is for your If you're just new into bongs, worth the investment, I don't think you'll ever need another bong. I think they have different colors on the base, but who cares? Yeah, there's some white ones, some black ones. I mean, they're it's. Just very modern look. It's very utilitarian type of feel. I don't even know if I'm using that word right. I don't. Know, but I do. This stuff is making me feel. Pretty good, Yeah. It's a it is.
It's an enjoyable strain. Like I said, it was very euphoric, Happy, like uplifting. Oh yeah. People use this for like stress and pain and anxiety. So it's it is. It's just a perfect strain. I've been in a funk lately. I think we both have. Yeah, especially yesterday. Like this is needed. Yes, yes. And I'm like, Oh my gosh, I haven't. I smoked a little bit on Ice Queen earlier, but nothing like this. I didn't go to this much. I just took like a little hit
here and there. Holy shit, I should have done that. Dude, this is such a good strain. This is is this fantastic? OK, so where where do we typically see these type of strains? I mean, you can get them almost anywhere, but this is more of a W strain. Maybe I'm east? Well, it's it's also mixed with New York City diesel, so maybe it is an East Coast strain. I think it could be an East Coast. I'm trying to see if it says where you can find it, but unless I just have to go to another one I.
But it has been in toxins. It's very popular strain right now, especially these hybrids where you get to be able to have the best of both worlds. I feel that it's very uplifted. I could smoke more of this and not get too high. Yeah, it's just worrying about the headache would be the only thing. I haven't hit it though. No, I haven't got it yet. I think for me though, because I've already. Different tolerances. Well, and I'm I'm a I'm a frequent sativa user.
So I think with the and I didn't take a lot today at all like I took a little on the on the ride over, but that's it. Like, I've been really keeping my intake a lot more conservatively and using it for specific times. So I've really been into alter ego states. And so I'm trying to be able to create different egos that are able to allow the use of certain things or tasks that I need to complete. And I'm experimenting with it.
But this makes me feel like I could shift between 1:00 to the other and feel very productive on super creativity. Yeah. This would be a good like I could get a lot of work. Done. This is a good mood. Yeah. Like, you know, you and the misses ain't been getting along or your significant other what have you. Or it's the holidays and holidays aren't easy for everyone. Like I just got over and like, I feel like it's still winter and there's that winter time
depression. Like, this is a great one to just kind of pick you up. Oh yeah, you you need this. If the colder where you live and you have access to find fine cannabis, go to your Dyspo. Yeah, Blue Diesel, Blue City Diesel. Look it up. We were we're interested in, in people who've had this in concentrate and in carts. I would really be able to see they're either from distillate or live rosin live resin. Yeah, we'll have to cycle back into an episode on live resin
and live rosin. Yeah, that'd be great. On my this strain, a couple things recently that I was just made me curious and think more about the concentrates. Yeah. So yeah, yeah, we'll have to cycle back around. But this is delicious. Like, it's. Still really strong diesel, but it's cool. At the first you get the blueberry you do, you get the slight sweetness, almost like a blueberry pie. But it's all gone now. Oh yeah, that's. It's. Just gas. It's.
Just all gas. It's it's like somebody just like oh fill her up. Look like it's yeah, you know and at these prices you know you'll probably get way more out of this than you will gas at the pump.
