An icon and mainstay in Canadian basketball, Sherman Hamilton, pulls up on Canada Hoops! Sherm joins Matty to share his incredible career and journey in basketball. Sherm talks about growing up in Malton and being part of the legendary ballers from the area. Sherman shares with us about playing at VCU, being a broadcaster and analyst now covering the Toronto Raptors for NBA TV Canada and Rogers Sportsnet and of course we dive into Sherms' time playing on the National Team for Canada Basketball. Sherm gives us an inside look at qualifying for the 2000 Sydney Olympics and then takes us through the Olympic tournament itself. Sherman touches on his relationship with Steve Nash and Sherm gives us his thoughts on the state of Canada Basketball and the program today.
