89: Crying In The Ant Enclosure (HIDDEN ORACLE Ch 29-32)

It’s time for the big reveal - Nero is The Beast, and The Beast is Meg’s Guardian. It’s also time for us to reveal the story we wrote in middle school and some (all) of high school. Nero has his villain speech moment. He has some German men with him. Meg is conflicted. Apollo sings again, unfortunately. Manasa is personally triggered by Nero. This book is about childhood trauma! We make fun of Nero so much that we realize we might be the villains. They have a sort of anticlimactic fight with Nero, and then Apollo runs towards the Grove.
