Believing, Even When I Have Doubts- Introduction - Audio

Episode description
It would be easier if someone told us that it’s okay to have doubts. It they had, it would have saved us all a lot of wandering around aimlessly, thinking there was a problem with our faith, or with us in general. That we had somehow missed the faith boat along the way and that God was standing there waiting to pummel us for our unbelief. We thought we were missing something when the signposts started turning into question marks.
The truth of the matter is that God doesn’t get angry with us for our doubts, He doesn’t punish us for asking questions. Doubt can be good because it exposes our insufficiency; we need to be reminded just how few answers we really have. We have far less wisdom that we like to think that we do. The truth is: doubt is not the same as unbelief-and any faith that is honest enough to ask questions is stronger than a faith that never thinks at all.
