In this last letter to the seven churches, Jesus addresses the church "of the Laodiceans". This is the longest letter to one of the 7 churches and Jesus has some very serious things to say to this church at Thyatira. They were doing doing some good things but they had strayed from God's Word and become very permissive to non-biblical things. If we are not careful, we can easily slip into this. It's why we need to learn to discern the truth.
In this 3rd letter to a church in Revelation, we see Jesus address the church at Pergamos. He addresses the fact that they are quite tolerant of false doctrine. He tells them to repent. What areas of our own lives are we tolerating compromise?
