The book of Philippians has a lot to say about what it means to be partners in mission for the Kingdom work of Jesus Christ. Stream or listen in as Pastor Aaron launches the new series by looking at Paul's prayer for partnership found in Philippians 1:1–11.
Jesus uses the illustration of building a house to show us the two ways we can respond to His teaching. The wise person puts it into practice, and the fool chooses to ignore it.
"Every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit." We are recognized by the fruit we bear – whether good or bad– therefore maintaining a healthy spiritual life means we can bear healthy spiritual fruit.
You have probably heard the Golden Rule in may different forms: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That is just one part of a verse written in the context of pursuing Kingdom life and the holiness of God. Today we'll look at this passage and what it means for us as Christ-followers.
