Episode description

My guest Wednesday on Calling Old Hollywood with Kat Lively is Screenwriter and Producer of some of my favorite films growing up — Larry Karaszewski. He co-wrote ‘Problem Child’ (all of them), ‘Ed Wood’, ‘Man on the Moon’, ‘Dolemite is my Name’, ‘The People vs. Larry Flynt’, ‘Big Eyes’, and several others.

Larry and I discuss his journey into screenwriting, love of film and classic films, inspiration, writing methods, his writing partner Scott Alexander, the process of cult comedy ‘Problem Child’, John Ritter and Amy Yasbeck, stories of Martin Landau in ‘Ed Wood’, Tim Burton, and so much more! Great laughs, and a great episode.
