We check out Border (2018), directed by Ali Abbasi, and The Rift (1990), directed by Juan Piquer Simon. A portrait of personal loneliness and dispossession both sensitive and shocking, followed by a ramshackle underwater adventure by our favourite Spanish lunatic.
