Episode description

Welcome to Episode #26!

We talked to Lorena Perez Batista who started her musical journey at an early age in her hometown Punto Fijo, Venezuela. Lorena studied Drums and Commercial Music at Miami Dade College, and a few years later received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.

During our conversation, Lorena tells us what it is like to be a female musician in a male dominated world, why she chose to play the drums, and the current situation in Venezuela, while enjoying a beautiful cup of coffee.
