Allowing Your Creative Expression to Flow with Tatiana Velazquez

Hello listeners, this week we're back with Tatiana Velazquez.

Tatiana is a former Pow! Wow! Long beach participant whose work can be found on the west-facing wall of the market at the northeast corner of Broadway and Cherry. Her work, bordering the lines between graphics and cubism, plays with female identity, beauty, and the interconnection of all humans.

She's a mixed media artist and creates art ranging from collage, watercolor, photography, ink, cyanotype, pastel, film, acting, screenwriting, and she's also a musician(bass, piano, vocals.). Tatiana does it all and enjoys it all. Through her story she teaches us that listening to what your body needs to express is powerful, sometimes that could come through visual art and sometimes through music.
