Every single piece of historical knowledge I have about the Wild West is from two movies; Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Young Guns. And while watching Billy The Kid wreak havoc on the San Dimas Mall was fun, Young Guns probably did a better job of retelling the adventure of William H. Bonney and the Lincoln County War. Following the blueprint of The Outsiders, The Breakfast Club, and Stand By Me, Young Guns was more than a history lesson, it was another radical 80s ensemble cast.
