This week we apparate into New York City in the 1920s. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them follows the journey of Newt Scamander as he attempts to recapture his escaped magical beasts. Along the way, he becomes entangled with a No-Maj (a muggle but in America, because reasons) and two witches of the MACUSA (totally not a transnational crime syndicate). This film has something for everyone. Perhaps you've always wanted to know what a Bashtickleforgorble* looks like. Or perhaps you've always suspected your mother-in-law was a Pleforsnorben*. Whatever your reason, join us this week as we discuss the first film in this 5-part film series and answer the question: But Is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Good?
