This week we're taking a look back at a Martin Scorsesesesse Scorsese classic, "The Departed." Based off the 2002 Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs", as well as pulling inspiration from real-life gangster Whitey Burger; "The Departed" is a crime story that explores loyalty, betrayal, identity, and the underground world of Boston's Irish Mob. Stack with an ensemble cast full of Hollywood heavyweights including Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, and more; "The Departed" became on of Scorsese's top films, earning an Oscar for Best Picture, and winning Scorsese his only Oscar win for Best Director. But...Is "The Departed" Good?
