#123 - The Prestige

This week we continue our mini-series covering a few of Christopher Nolan's films with his 2006 masterpiece - The Prestige! Starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall, Andy Serkis, David Bowie, and Piper Perabo, Christopher Nolan takes us on a psychological thriller joyride, based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Christopher Priest. This film follows rival magicians Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale), who have a long and bitter rivalry over their careers and personal livelihoods, centering on a trick called "The Transported Man." The film brings back Bale and Caine, who worked with Nolan on Batman Begins two years prior. Filled with twists and turns, this is a film that will challenge your ability to reason... But Is The Prestige Good?
