Episode description

In our previous Podcast ‘Focus on user experience to drive digital adoption at workplace’ we briefly scratched the surface on a technique to drive adoption, called gamification. Gamification is part of the digital adoption offering that boosts adoption of digital tools. It also can make the business processes of our customers like sales or onboarding more effective and more engaging for the end users. True digital transformation is driven by employees who are motivated and engaged. Digital innovation has radically altered employee expectations about their interactions with everyone and everything. Gamification techniques help drive end-user engagement, and have often proven to be highly successful in changing behaviours in a target audience to achieve business outcomes. Game mechanics such as points, challenges, leaderboards, rules and incentives make game-play enjoyable, leading to higher and more meaningful levels of engagement. Smart organizations not only apply game elements and techniques to the business environment, but also in engaging multiple groups of employees to increase their motivation. Listen to our experts, Michal Przybylowski, Katarzyna Zelazny and Stuart Downes as they discuss how Gamification can help change behaviours, develop skills and drive innovation.
