It is the result of vision ,persistence and a belief that more than 200 acres of neglected property along the White River could be something special. 35 years after opening, White River State Park is a gleaming collection of arts and culture, sports and entertainment attractions.  But, as Executive Director Jake Oakman explains, this urban park’s relevance, and size, are about to grow.
