Dr. Madigan is a Chief Executive Officer at Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a tenured professor at the Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Liz shares how Sigma recognizes and honors clinical facilities and academic settings that have demonstrated commitment in promoting a healthy work environment.

She also talks about some of the issues like incivility, microaggressions, and bullying in academic settings and healthcare organizations.

We discuss with Liz the importance of meaningful recognition for nurses, faculty, and others in support of creating a healthy work environment.
