Greg Ford is the founder of iconic Queensland business, Trade Tools.

Established in the 1980's and now with a network of almost 20 stores, more than 270 staff and turning over more than 200 million a year. This is a great story about a family business that went in total contrast to most of its competitors and placed a focus on its staff first which then flowed down to the customers.

It shows that its still possible to build a business on old fashioned values, rather than partake in the race to the bottom of the price wars.

Trade Tools still manufactures part of its range of tools in Australia and has plans of opening even more stores along the east coast.
