Episode description

We pay tribute to the "King of the B Movies" Roger Corman on Episode 117 of The Bulletproof Podcast with a discussion of 1992's Blackbelt.

Join your host Chris the Brain and co-host "The Toyman" Chris DePetrillo as they discuss one of Don "The Dragon" Wilson's darker movies, Blackbelt. It's an action thriller with martial arts thrown in, filled with disturbing themes as we learn the backstories of both the villain John Sweet (played by Matthias Hues) and the movie's damsel in distress... which leaves plenty to talk about. Also discussed are the appearances by some of The Dragon's fellow kickboxers (including the ultimate sad sack!), the mystery of why Jack Dillon quit the police force and the guys talk some of their favorite Roger Corman films too!
