Price of a New Season
Episode description
"We don’t change because we have arrived; we arrive because we have changed."
The Lord is leading us into a new season, and the price of a new season is TRANSFORMATION. There was a reason the Lord led the Israelites through the wilderness: to change their appetite and prepare them for the Promised Land. Before stepping into your promise, there’s a grace period where God allows you to adjust and retrain your appetite.
Can you imagine an entire nation rebelling against God because of their appetite?
If you don’t train your appetite, your appetite will train you.
The Promised Land requires a retrained appetite.
There is a bread that prepares you for your future and a bread that traps you in your past. You cannot continue with the same appetite and expect a different result.
The more you engage in the noise of the world, the fainter the voice of the Lord becomes. But when you dull down the noise and tame the cravings of the flesh, your spiritual senses awaken!
Because in the Promised Land, you have to cultivate the land through diligence and complete dependence on the Lord. When you train your appetite, the deeper things of God become louder.
New wine demands new wineskins. This new season requires a new you.
