The new NBA season promises to be a wild and exciting ride. Monica and Bruce Bernstein from Pure Hoops Media discuss all the major storylines. LeBron James and the Lakers top the bill (@2:08). The Clippers and Kawhi Leonard (@8:05) are favored by many to win it all and the chemistry under Doc Rivers will be a work in progress. At 14:00, Monica and Bruce discuss the pros and cons of changing the playoff system to the top 16 teams instead of 8 teams from each conference. The Russell Westbrook/James Harden in Houston will challenge coach Mike D'Antoni's reputation for offensive innovation (@16:40). Can Utah fulfill the heightened expectations? (@ 23:30). Can Golden State succeed in spite of losing Kevin Durant to Brooklyn and Klay Thompson to injury? (@29:05).
