[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back to Bucco Banner episode one ninety five. [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking trade deadline with friend of the show and beat reporter for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. [SPEAKER_03]: No Hiles. [SPEAKER_03]: You're listening to the Bucco Banner podcast brought to you by the Just Facebook Media Network. [SPEAKER_03]: He's a music. [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to another episode of Buckebanner. [SPEAKER_00]: We're live today with our long loss friend Noah Hios.
[SPEAKER_00]: I see long loss because we haven't had you on a while, man. [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_02]: What, what the hell? [SPEAKER_01]: I, I, I, it's Adam's decisions. [SPEAKER_01]: I had guilt this program. [SPEAKER_01]: I was your first guest. [SPEAKER_03]: I was so used to having you on every other week in the office and I, there's been a hole in my life and that has been filled with your presence today. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, um, I'm glad to be back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, all jokes aside, I did not build this. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys have built something on your own. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's been pulled to see how well you guys were doing. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: You got a big interview with Cuch. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, who would have thought that was coming? [SPEAKER_03]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: You definitely didn't think it was coming. [SPEAKER_01]: I have my doubts. [SPEAKER_01]: We want to talk about.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's, uh, there's stuff going on. [SPEAKER_03]: There's stuff happening. [SPEAKER_03]: You're in San Francisco right now and you're a busy, busy man. [SPEAKER_03]: So we're not going to keep you for too long. [SPEAKER_03]: But the big news of the day, we're not going to spend too much. [SPEAKER_03]: Higher it, swept the giants. [SPEAKER_03]: No, definitely. [SPEAKER_03]: They're all the way back, eight of the last nine.
[SPEAKER_03]: Keep Ryan Hayes is no longer a Pittsburgh Pirate. [SPEAKER_03]: And Scott and I just got done talking about this on our episode that's going to drop later on tomorrow. [SPEAKER_03]: But what's your initial reaction? [SPEAKER_03]: What's been going on behind the scenes was this always going to happen, whether a lot of teams involved and ultimately the reds, why is Pirates Twitter exploding over Keep Ryan Hayes right now? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to talk about Pirates Twitter.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to talk about the trade. [SPEAKER_01]: because pirate. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, so the trade, yes, I heard at the start of the month, maybe even a little bit before that, like late, late June that there was a strong chance to Brian could get me. [SPEAKER_01]: I reported that in the beginning of July, talked to a lot of sources and it seemed like the pirates really wanted [SPEAKER_01]: to kind of end the time here with Cabrion Hayes.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was just finding the right deal that made sense. [SPEAKER_01]: There were a handful of teams interested. [SPEAKER_01]: The Cubs, obviously, were one of the teams I reported, the Tigers, heard a few others, but I am a tsunami survivor. [SPEAKER_01]: I had to shout out. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think after the McMahon deal, I became skeptical just because I was like, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who would really want him because when you looked at the other options at third base, like Aronados available, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And of course, Gino Suarez is like the big crown jewel of this year's deadline. [SPEAKER_01]: I was just thinking like, where would this fit in? [SPEAKER_01]: And sure enough, the Cincinnati rides. [SPEAKER_01]: not only take Kiberian Hayes, but they give up one of the top ten prospects in their organization.
[SPEAKER_01]: They give away a pretty effective relief pitcher in Taylor Rogers, who I'm not necessarily sure he's ever going to play a game as a Pittsburgh pirate. [SPEAKER_01]: And some cash considerations as well. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm still working on finding the specifics on that detail of this trade. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get that ironed out. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not my top priority right now, but we'll figure all that out eventually. [SPEAKER_01]: But my thoughts on the deal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, Kibrine Hayes is a valuable baseball player to the right team. [SPEAKER_01]: Just not this team. [SPEAKER_01]: He isn't a leaked defender, but this team needs offense. [SPEAKER_01]: It needs, especially at the corner positions, especially in the end field. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you look around the diamond, he's probably their worst [SPEAKER_01]: power hinder. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, out of everyone, which is saying something because, I mean, you look at shortstop.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have a future, twenty home run bat on the way with Connor Griffin. [SPEAKER_01]: You would like to think that that would be the case. [SPEAKER_01]: And he could be here as early as next year. [SPEAKER_01]: Nick Gonzalez is probably not a twenty home run bat, but he can hit ten to fifteen. [SPEAKER_01]: Spencer Horowitz who knows what he's capable of. [SPEAKER_01]: But Kibran, I think it's fair to say that he's just going to be a defense only guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he is a lot of club control. [SPEAKER_01]: And for the pirates, if you're going to have [SPEAKER_01]: Even if their payroll does go up, let's just say it goes up to a hundred million next year, which I know people are skeptical about, but let's operate even under the assumption that it does go up. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, combined, eating close to ten percent of that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for you to allocate that much of your resources into a player who's not giving you anything offensively, in an era of baseball where your money is spent on pitching and slugging percentage. [SPEAKER_01]: That's where your money should be going toward. [SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't make sense for the pirates to hang onto that asset.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's a clean slate at third base, a position that there's just a lot of really interesting options to go with for the future of that position for the pirates. [SPEAKER_01]: Not a lot of internal options, obviously. [SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of people just think Jared Trio, I was going to be the everyday guy there, moving forward. [SPEAKER_01]: I disagree with that assertion. [SPEAKER_01]: I think Jared Trio is going to play a lot there this year.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they want good defense at third base. [SPEAKER_01]: They could bring trio low in as a late game sub. [SPEAKER_01]: They have him as a backup option. [SPEAKER_01]: But you look at what they could do in the trade market at third base like tomorrow or just down the road like in the off season. [SPEAKER_01]: You look at some of the free agents that are available. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know that there's warranted skepticism on their desire to spend in free agency.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if there were ever a situation that made sense, this is it. [SPEAKER_01]: The free agency class is really good. [SPEAKER_01]: And maybe while the pirates aren't going to sign a Breggman or a Suarez, the team that does could look to move their third basement, who is better than what the pirates currently have. [SPEAKER_01]: which is like no one. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't have a third basement right now. [SPEAKER_01]: So overall, yeah, they got Hayes off the books.
[SPEAKER_01]: They get a clean slate at a cornering field position. [SPEAKER_01]: Give them an opportunity to add some slugging. [SPEAKER_01]: Give them an opportunity to reinvest some money. [SPEAKER_01]: They get a top ten prospect from the Reds organization. [SPEAKER_01]: They get Taylor Rogers for at least a day. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is a move that makes a lot of sense for the pirates. [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm talking about the return.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we talk about no Taylor Rogers who we anticipate being flipped, but do you think this was possibly a smart move on the parts for an office because you see how the reliever market is moving right now. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, just saw the derand trade from the twins. [SPEAKER_02]: He, they got two top one hundred prospects from Philly. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Mick Abel and Eduardo Taite and [SPEAKER_02]: bad nor insane.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to think the price went up there and then you go to a chance to move another reliever with a two forty five the array. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you think there's more to come here over the next twenty four hours in adding upper level depth or just maybe just adding depth in general to this organization with the relievers that they have. [SPEAKER_01]: I do.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean you look like you said Scott like the [SPEAKER_01]: Some of the biggest relievers are now off the board. [SPEAKER_01]: And those needs are met. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Seattle might be looking to add an extra reliever, but how much more pitching does that organization need, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And they acquire Caleb Ferguson, that helps and fairly got their guy. [SPEAKER_01]: The match made a big move.
[SPEAKER_01]: So you look, I guess everyone's still shopping for relief pitching, but [SPEAKER_01]: The pirates are kind of the premier destination for that with what you just said with Bednar with Santana and now with with Rogers. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look at what his brother just generated and that trade. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's [SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was a very, very big. [SPEAKER_01]: He's good. [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a very effective.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then obviously he lost yesterday's game for the Giants, but I mean, he is a nasty set of guy and what he generated, I mean, you got to feel good that you have this twin brother who throws the ball completely different than him, but still, um, yeah, I think that that was a nice little asset. [SPEAKER_01]: And I understand that [SPEAKER_01]: You know, these guys guess what? [SPEAKER_01]: I hate to break it to everybody watching the millions of people at home watching this.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're not getting show Hey Otani for Taylor Rogers or Dennis Santana. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe mookie bats. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_01]: He's having a down here. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just kidding. [SPEAKER_01]: If I said that on the fan, that would be tweeted right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: But no, but I mean, I think it's just like, [SPEAKER_01]: The way the pirates, if they're going to have a successful trade deadline, it's going to be moves in phases, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And I think phase one is getting key off the books here and creating a market for their relief pitching and they're going to add prospects.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think like the completion of this vision that they have probably isn't going to be met until the off season, because I think that's when Keller is ultimately going to get moved. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's when we're going to see some of [SPEAKER_01]: These prospects make sense rather than everyone's asking, well, where are the big league bets? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they also need to supplement the farm system.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you just trade some of these guys for their big league equivalent, you're not going to be fixing much. [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas if you load up on prospects, [SPEAKER_01]: You can have enough to maybe make more aggressive moves in the offseason, including color, and make your lineup better. [SPEAKER_01]: So I know I just said a lot of words, but I think so far they've made the right moves.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's transition then because we're just talking relievers and Ryan Hellsley is off the market now, Doran, obviously, Clause A with that whole situation that's going on over there that leaves David Benneurin, another high-leverage arm in Dennis Santana, but let's start with Benneur first. [SPEAKER_03]: What are the talks right now on Benneur? [SPEAKER_03]: Are they still likely to move him or are they holding out to the last second to get the best package possible?
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're going to take it down to the wire. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought personally that Helsey and Daran were going to be moved tomorrow. [SPEAKER_01]: And I thought it was just going to be a boom, boom, boom. [SPEAKER_01]: Those three, including that NAR, we're going to be acquired or traded within an hour of each other. [SPEAKER_01]: But now, I mean, I don't think this could have unfolded anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: at an advantageous way for pirates, because now they have twenty four hours essentially to field offers on David Bednar. [SPEAKER_01]: You look at the deran return. [SPEAKER_01]: That's because I think that's a probably because this has only have any other controller as he a free agent. [SPEAKER_02]: I think you might have a year. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's a rental, but I could be wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, so we'll talk about the Duran return real quick. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the one that stands out, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Because they get two top one hundred prospects from the fillies. [SPEAKER_01]: Two of their top six, both of those guys are top one hundred and on MLB pipeline. [SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of people see that, and they think, wow, that's a pretty steep price. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a big return.
[SPEAKER_01]: I have a source from a team connected to Bednar telling me right now that [SPEAKER_01]: They feel that that's a bit of an underpay. [SPEAKER_01]: So for a guy like Doran. [SPEAKER_01]: So that tells me that teams would view that to be an appropriate return for that norm. [SPEAKER_01]: If they view that to be an underpay for Doran, who you could argue is perhaps as good if not better than that norm. [SPEAKER_02]: He's younger too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Younger and has an extra year of control. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: If that's an underpay for Doran, then that might be what the asking price is, a fair asking price, I'll be it for David Bednar. [SPEAKER_01]: So now you have to sit here and think what team can provide that value. [SPEAKER_01]: I really only think there's one, as far as prospects are concerned, I think there's one right now, and that's a choice. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Detroit.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know Texas has been rumored to be interested in, and there's other teams that are interested in relievers like Boston, but Detroit is who I have my eyes on. [SPEAKER_02]: And I know that there's been rumored to the pirates have had scouts at the W affiliate up in eerie. [SPEAKER_02]: they have a lot of their top prospects here. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about the Caleb Ferguson trade real quick.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to spend too much time on this, but they got a high-up side arm, top-fifteen prospect, according to MLB pipeline, Geter Martinez, a guy that, I guess you want to call our sister podcast on our network and Seattle Marine Lair. [SPEAKER_02]: They mentioned that he has a lot of upside. [SPEAKER_02]: He's just struggled with strikes these long ways away, but he's got stuff, he's got the arm, [SPEAKER_02]: This is what about what we expected for Caleb Ferguson, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and what you just described is the one thing the pirates typically get well, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Or get right? [SPEAKER_02]: Or take it arm. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, lottery ticket arm with crazy stuff can't find the zone. [SPEAKER_01]: They've had a lot of success turning those guys out and turning them into top one hundred prospects and effective big league pitchers. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, yeah, I mean, what are you expecting for Caleb Ferguson?
[SPEAKER_01]: I saw some people comparing them to Taylor Rogers. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, I mean, he's a, he's a, he's a Tyler. [SPEAKER_01]: People were comparing them to Tyler Rogers, the guy who got moved to the, uh, Matt's. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Which, I mean, come on. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's be real. [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's like Taylor Ferguson's a solid picture. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not your top two.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not a top two leverage guy like he is on the pirates, but yeah, like not on a playoff team, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And like that's no sled against Caleb like he will pitch innings this post season. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's not pitching the eighth or the ninth in a safe situation. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think what they got was fine. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what more you could ask for. [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, that's the type of lottery ticket they should be going after.
[SPEAKER_01]: for players like Ferguson. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, if you want a hitter, especially a guy in like double or triple A, you're getting more of what you already have in this organization. [SPEAKER_01]: You're getting at best a quad A player, probably in return. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know that to the casual fan, you're seeing, oh, they're adding offense. [SPEAKER_01]: But are you? [SPEAKER_01]: Do you need another cam divini? [SPEAKER_01]: You just got one.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: That's my take on it. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a fine return. [SPEAKER_03]: What's the talk, Mitch Keller? [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Because that was the hottest name before all this key Brian Hayes news dropped. [SPEAKER_03]: Where's Mitch Keller going to go? [SPEAKER_03]: It's gone from he's absolutely getting dealt to maybe the pirates hold on to him. [SPEAKER_03]: What's the feel for right now?
[SPEAKER_03]: And are there any potential shooters out there that are going to make a last minute push for color? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's interesting, right? [SPEAKER_01]: I know Boston is in the mix now. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I reported Tuesday. [SPEAKER_01]: I just think it may so much more sense to hold on to Mitch for the off season, because I think the pirates from what I've heard, the pirates of you, Mitch, as they're only real asset, they're worth letting go of.
[SPEAKER_01]: That can bring back an established big league that. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you can get the major league hitter equivalent of Mitch Keller, for Mitch Keller. [SPEAKER_01]: He probably just can't get it on July, thirty first because who's giving up that type of offense in the midst of a panic run. [SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't make a lot of sense or that type of value. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've seen like a Joey Loper feto rumor, who's hitting over three hundred hours of the blue jays.
[SPEAKER_02]: So like, why would the blue jays do that? [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: In the off season, it makes a lot more sense. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you look at the blue jays, you look at the red socks, like [SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to depart with, and again, like, these aren't names that have been brought up to me, but just a Durran, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Or what's a Bray you or someone like that, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: You do that in the off season because you can replace them in free agency. [SPEAKER_01]: if you're the red sauce. [SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like, okay, yeah, we're just gonna bring in Mitch Keller, we were signing this guy anyway, that's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Or you feel more confident in your prospect group of your Boston. [SPEAKER_01]: It also allows you to shop Mitch Keller to teams that aren't just looking to win the World Series right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: I still think a team like Baltimore makes a ton of sense for Mitch Keller. [SPEAKER_01]: They're a team that's been interested in him for years. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you look at the position that just opened up at the third base, [SPEAKER_01]: Or you'll have some guys that make a lot of sense for the pirates at that spot. [SPEAKER_01]: And it could be like I said, guys, plural as opposed to one player.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I just think there's you have so much more opportunity trading Mitch in the off season. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know you run the risk of him having a second half of Greshen or getting hurt, which you obviously don't want to see happen. [SPEAKER_01]: It could tank his value. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like if there's a safe bet on one player on this team on what their value is just going to be, Mitch is that guy. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's been the same guy for three seasons now.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's been able to avoid injury. [SPEAKER_01]: And I know the second half of aggression is a thing that's tagged to him. [SPEAKER_01]: But even if it does happen, teams wanted him last year and they decided to hold on. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to know what Baba Chandler looks like in the major leagues here soon. [SPEAKER_01]: We might know what Hunter Barco looks like.
[SPEAKER_01]: The pirates are going to know what their major league pitching staff will look like without Mitch Keller by the end of this season. [SPEAKER_01]: Even though he will be a part of it, they will know what Mike Burroughs looks like after a full major league season. [SPEAKER_01]: They'll have a better idea on how they want to use Braxton Ashcraft.
[SPEAKER_01]: Carmen Maginski, they have, they can put together their own internal plan for life after Mitch, and they can continue those conversations on what they're going to ask for them. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it just makes a lot more sense to hang on to them right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Unless you're absolutely blown away, if they want to offer, if the red socks want to offer a bra or a durian mid-season, yeah, make that deal. [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see that happening.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think the pirates do either. [SPEAKER_02]: Outside of, you know, Frazier Hayes Ferguson who have been dealt. [SPEAKER_02]: Who do you think are the locks to be dealt before six PM tomorrow? [SPEAKER_02]: Is it like a Hini, ICF, Tommy Fam, or is there others? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's those three. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't agree. [SPEAKER_01]: I expected he need to get moved today. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Just some conversations I had.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's funny that they have him listed as the. [SPEAKER_01]: Start for tomorrow. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even bother adding that in my story. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that's just. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no way that happens. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I think all of those guys make a lot of sense. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, [SPEAKER_01]: Those are the three obvious ones, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Bednar has the highest likelihood of anyone that's not on an expiring deal. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe Barraki could be moved to. [SPEAKER_01]: They could activate them today, now that they have an open, forty man spot and an open active roster spot, activate them and trade them for anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And same could go for Rogers, just trade him before he even joins a team in Colorado.
[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the guys that I think would make sense because they're all, they're all expiring contracts. [SPEAKER_01]: Bednar is the only long-term asset that I think is a high likelihood of being moved. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, don't anticipate Mitch Keller. [SPEAKER_01]: Haven't heard a ton on the Carlos Santana front as of late.
[SPEAKER_01]: Seems like the pirates are willing to, or would like to keep him for that final year of control he has or at least take him into the offseason. [SPEAKER_01]: Another name that I've had kind of come across my figurative desk here is Joey Bart. [SPEAKER_01]: Some teams seem to have interest in him. [SPEAKER_01]: Not as a catcher of more so as just a bench bat that they can play tune against left handed pitching.
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know if that will happen, but that's the name I feel like it's worth mentioning because I've heard it from multiple places now. [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking Dennis Santana, right? [SPEAKER_03]: So you mentioned you said Carlos Santana, I think. [SPEAKER_03]: I did. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're not the pirates aren't trading him again. [SPEAKER_03]: That's okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So you don't think Dennis Santana is going to get moved.
[SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think the pirates are trading Carlos Santana either, but I think. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they can't. [SPEAKER_01]: But they've done it before. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: They did it again. [SPEAKER_01]: Not this time. [SPEAKER_01]: Not this year. [SPEAKER_01]: And Dennis Santana probably a higher likelihood of getting traded than Carlos Santana by the pirates. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think he will get moved.
[SPEAKER_03]: Any, is there anyone that you think would surprise people out that that people are besides only a cruise, which you reported on great story, go find it at post, is that anyone else on the team that you think has been getting calls that the pirates are listening to or they're feeling offers on. [SPEAKER_01]: The way the hasting unfolded makes me wonder about Reynolds a bit. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't checked in on that camp. [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that would, you wouldn't talk about a salary dump. [SPEAKER_01]: That would be exactly what that is. [SPEAKER_01]: Where haze, I just view haze more as just like a blank slate. [SPEAKER_01]: Like a salary dumped in my eyes is just get rid of the money. [SPEAKER_01]: we don't care what happens afterwards type thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Or third bait, I just think they weren't satisfied with the present or the future for Hayes.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess you could say the same thing applies to Reynolds. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they're as pessimistic about Reynolds's future as they were with Hayes. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't anticipate Brian being traded, but the way Hayes is trade unfolded makes me wonder if maybe [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe makes it a little bit more likely that something like that could happen with Reynolds.
[SPEAKER_01]: Although I still don't think it's very likely. [SPEAKER_02]: Interesting. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, Noah, appreciate you coming on talking to Tray deadline with us. [SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I know there's a lot that could happen over the next, I don't know, less than twenty four hours here, deadlines tomorrow at six p.m. [SPEAKER_02]: They want to build the best roster possible for the Wolf game on September second. [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone marker calendars, stuff launch.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I do what we're talking about. [SPEAKER_03]: No idea September second no work and everybody find your work [SPEAKER_01]: at the press box on September second against the Dodgers post dash because that dot com is where he can read my work. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's time to go before we, you know, bore people to death with our engines. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: No, I appreciate you having coming on this show and hopefully we'll have some news to break here in the next twenty four hours. [SPEAKER_03]: So good luck the rest of the way. [SPEAKER_03]: Rune for you. [SPEAKER_00]: Get it let me run the base. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah my time is like my money cuz I can't afford to wait
