Following Argentina's Open Primaries (PASO), in which President Alberto Fernández suffered a major setback, and even though the results have strengthened Cristina Kirchner and her most extreme supporters, several factors make us think that radicalisation is out of the government’s scope. In the absence of strong incentives for a radicalisation of the administration, the higher chance of a regime change in 2023 could boost bond prices by 8-10 percent in recent tradings.
