Episode description

On this episode: Hip Hop is set to celebrate 50 years since Clive Campbell (DJ Kool Herc) hosted a back to school party at 1520 Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx. The break beats he looped on the turntables represented on August 11th, 1973 the birth of hip hop. Billboard published 50 emcees to commemorate the occasion, alleging that these were the 50 greatest of all time. We’ll let you know what we think, what do you think? Let us know.
