- We learn Tyrion is still thinking of Jeor Mormont at the Wall as he is sending him some new recruits.
- Varys applauds Tyrion on dealing with Janos, and reveals he has been withholding information from the imp.
- Tyrion seems to have made a friend in Varys, and has some thoughts regarding his sellsword "friend" Bronn.
