at the time, I did not know that. Okay, let's focus on him, all right, Yeah, Jacob, where the butterflies going off? Did rainbows shoot across the sky? What happened? I saw the picket fans and the minivan. No no, no, no, no, look he was really pretty, but I didn't know yet. Okay, normal, where were you guys? How did you meet? So this is the weird part. We met at one of those health research studies. What is that? You know? You kind of go in for a few days and they do

like medical testing and study it kind of like that. No, no, it was like six hours a day. We still were able to go home. Okay, So are you were one of the test subjects? Yeah? Look I was laid off at the time, and my friend was like, hey, you can make a few of the bucks for a few days. Like dude, I mean, hold on, are they like giving you medicine and see if you have an allergic reaction? Like what do you do? I don't even know what it is. It was called a BPS study. What's up?

What does it stand for? I don't know. I Google like glad you did research too well. It was supposed to be about anonymity, right, and they didn't want us to know anything or it could ruin the study. So all we were doing was more like athletics things. It was like go to this side of the room, walk here, or walk to the other end, and then they do it, and then we do it, and then we maybe run a little bit weird. Did you feel like a lab rat? Um? I felt like a hamster. Okay, they did make us

run on wheels. Yeah, but I mean it's pretty crazy. So you're in this group and she's there too. Yeah, yeah, so we we we're in a room, a waiting room at the beginning, and she was sitting across from me and we chat a little bit and she's like it was kind of similar situations, Like, oh, I got laid off too, but I got to know her better later because we got put up in like groups of eight and she happened to be in my group. Okay, Okay, I just have to ask, like, is the test study

is that considered your date? That was not the first, I guess date. That was just us being forced to be together. Okay, so romantic studies kissing stiff. At what point in this like medical exercise do you make your move to ask her out? Well, right before it ended, I was saying, hey, maybe we can grab a cup of coffee after we get out, and she was like cool. So we went to a coffee shop nearby and were able to shit chat a little bit got nowhere better

than you know, lab rat talk. So I know, I just keep picturing you guys in like an all white room and white jumpsuits. You know. I'm yeah, like some two way mirror and everybody's watching. It's like climb the role. So there was the weirdest part was when we were forced to lay down face first on a beam bag. What yeah, what is that study? I just heard, like you said, I heard the voice. Now there's a bean bag. Maybe this is like some sort of intelligence stuff. Did

a number in a bathroom? Like rest up? Its fawning the room? Yo, that sounds more fun. Now. I was wondering where the love connection was happening, and now it's coming in. Okay. I know we're concentrating a lot about this experience for you interest it is, but I want to know about coffee. How is that coffee was good? I mean it was definitely normal. Now we were dressed like normal humans and d you know, when you bond

over something traumatic easier to bond. Yeah, you know we both were talking about like we wanted to go to college but didn't go. We both were like in the Mexican foods like jazz music. So Brindley's not calling you back, Like, I can't believe you experience this all with her. You go to coffee, even if she only wanted to be friends, Like it seems like you guys are so connected at

this point. Well that's what I'm thinking, because I did vibe enough and I was like, you know, let me be a little bit more straightforward, and it's like, I'd like to see you again for a second date. And she was like, well, you text me because I'm a little busy right now. Oh, and so I did. I didn't hear anything for a few days, but I was like, let me not keep jumping the gun and text all the time. Oh no, but it's been like five days and I text maybe two more times and I still

haven't heard anything. Yeah, we're that busy. Are you worry that she's like laying down face first and someone else's being back. Let's call Bridley. Two people disturbing down on their luck volunteer for a clinical study together to make some quick cash, and the scientist's goal was to find out if they have BPS whatever that is. For all we know it's a made up acrony. They never explained it to them, and why was a bean bag involved? That's what they found at the end, that the two of them were both great at laying face down in beanbags. Yeah, so they have that going for them, But what about love?

Is that a factor here? That's our job to be the researchers. That's right, we're gonna figure this out. I'm glad that they left that to the real scientists. Jacob, how's your face? How's your heart? I know him, super fun. Yeah. I mean he seemed to think that you guys made a real connection, like one during the study. But then afterwards it sounds like you guys went to coffee. Um. I probably shouldn't talk about this. I'm good to get in trouble. We don't need to know about like the medical stuff. Yeah, we're just calling because Jacob said he had a great time with you. And he hasn't been able to reach you

since you guys hung out and he doesn't really know why. Yeah, I just I don't really think I should be talking to you about this. Are you Why are you single? I'm not involved with anybody. Okay, Okay, We're not trying to delve too deep into your personal life. We're just trying to help Jacob understand what's going on between you two. I mean, from him perspective, you guys spent a lot of time together, like it seemed like you to him, made a real connection. Yeah, but um, everybody had to

Okay, well, um, I was attracted to him, Okay, cute, hind it's a good person. But that's great. So wait, why aren't you calling him back? Then? He really likes you too, It sounds perfect well. To be honest with you, I even though it was part of the study, I'm really a researcher. I was researching him the whole time and they weren't

supposed to know that. Oh my gosh, you worked for the study. Why didn't you have to write down in a beanbag? This has been driving me crazy. I can't really talk about that. It's still looking at their buds. You said yourself though, that you thought that Jacob was attractive. Well, that's the thing, Like, I'm attracted to him, but I feel like it's uneffable to go out with him. But you already went out to him to coffee. Why did

you agree to that? Well, the study was a two day study and he asked me out halfway through, and I felt like I had to follow through with it. But even that was crossing your line. I mean, that makes sense though if you say no, then you probably won't be able to But it's such a good love story, you know, like the researcher with the lab ad that she's not supposed to stay here. I don't know. I don't want to be the rat. That situation kind of love story. I think it did get a little bit juicier.

And before you go back to the lab Brindley, we do need to let you know that Jacob has been listening on the other line this entire time here and he wants to talk to you. Jacob, Hello, not a rat, a hamster. Yeah that's right, that's right, you go like a hamster. I forgot sorry, buddy. Now I'm a little confused. Did anything that you said was it any of it true? Or was it all made up? Well, the quote unquote facts were made up about me. But I do enjoy your company, and I do like you, and I like

hanging out with you. And you don't like Mexican food. I like Mexican food. But like, you know, the whole part about in hacking to college and well, I mean obviously you you had some education since you're a researcher. Yeah, I mean, I'm not a huge fan of jazz, but I do like you, and I would like to get to know you about At this point, I just don't you feel like it's completely unethical? Like, well, isn't the study over? His part is over, but my part is not.

I still have work to do in research to do. It's how long does it go on for? I mean, aren't we talking this thing will wrap up in a couple of months or we well, these things take years, I mean years. Is bps really that big of a problem? I'm not little, never ever heard of it before. Okay, you shouldn't even be saying that on a radio. I understand that you think it's not ethical, But love isn't always ethical. Okay, Sometimes you just have to follow your

heart and ignore the ethics. And I would go, it's always ethical, yeah, especially especially when you travel to Thailand. There is no ethics. It's all love over there, and I would like to offer it involved any of that. Okay, Well, I mean, look, I say this like weird things start from the strangest places, and you just don't always have answers.

Sometimes you just go with the flow. Right, But I say, I thought we had a connection to I still think you're you're extremely gorgeous and you had a nice personality. And if that's true, hey, what the heck? Right? I mean, but that's aw at end of the day, dude, you're making this hard. I can't see us in the radio, but I do want to ask you, like, just to save me an email to send out. Is there anything

we're going on with your urine at all? Like, okay in the relationship or I'm not allowed to answer over the air. I felt I felt awful. I mean I kind of felt responsible because obviously it wouldn't have happened if I didn't call in, So I just tried to do my best to be a really good friend to her. Good.
