One of our listeners, Ryan, contacted us recently saying that he went on a fun and unique date. But will be the

All right, well her name is Olivia. I don't trust you again. Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of back and forth on this one. Ryan.

A roller coaster with you, Ryan, come on, come on, Hey, I want to know what made you want to do something fun and unique for Olivia because that takes time and effort, so she must be special in some way. So we met on like an app. And I don't know if you guys are on any of the dating apps, but like every single person on those apps always says that they're like super into hiking. Yeah, yeah, it's obnoxious.

I don't believe any of them. I think they're all liars and the want to sound like athletic and out door zy. It's really hard for the real hikers out there because like we're all like, no, we actually like it, and no, everyone thinks we're lying. Yeah, but everyone wants to seem interesting. They don't want to put I like to watch Netflix and eat mac and cheese all day. Like that's not gonna win you over? What will be

wrong with that? Thank you doesn't get you as many swipes, not like I live in the middle of the ocean, but I still love hiking. It's always hiking. Her profile has something funny. She actually like called those people out and she was like, I don't like hiking. That's pretty good. I'm not like everybody else, like I actually don't like hiking. That was funny that she put that in there. So we chatted for a while and we eventually decided to meet for a hike. Yeah. No, I suggested that we

go for a walk. Why would you do that? She doesn't like hiking. Then you go to a bar and you drink a walk. She said that she was like athletic, but she's not like obsessed with hiking like everybody else pretends to be on sta. She likes hiking, just without the trees and in nature, just normal walking. Well, I thought it was a good idea. I think it's a great idea. Ryan. I'm with you. If someone doesn't like hiking, they're not like walking, like that's like they're literally the

same things. But okay, you know they are not the same thing. We were or in boot we didn't have like a picnic in our backpack. We weren't wetty and like, so when you said fun and unique day, this doesn't sound like unique. Yeah, because you guys keep interrupting me and I can't finish a damn sentence. Excuse me, I'm sorry. Continue. So what had happened was to make the day like extra special and unique. I ordered a bag of googly eyes,

do you guys know what I mean by that? Like, and they had like they're like stickers almost you didn't peel the back off and you can just like stick them anywhere. So as we were walking, I just like busting those out and we just started kind of like putting them in random places. Oh my god, I actually love that you vandalized the city with Google eyes. Oh come on, it's not vandalized. They peeled right off. It's not like it's like graffiti. I'm here for it. I'm

not saying that I'm not here for that. I think that's really funny. Yeah, you were actually right. The fun and unique came through and she was laughing and like it was kind of like a cool icebreaker, and I don't know, it was it was fun. Like it was nice to like show like my silly fun to imagine a sign with two Google eyes and the totally absolutely absolutely all right, So how did everything go with the

Google eyes and the hiking in the city. All that was great, and then we eventually found a taco trapp and we just got some food. Now, this is actually a really cute date. What was the interaction between you two? Like, it was great. I mean I was making her laugh a lot, and for me, that's always a really good sign. So I was feeling really good and we were sitting

on a staircase just eating our food. It was super chill and like the sun was setting, and I just felt like it was the moment, you know, for the kids. Oh yeah, and so we kissed. And when I pulled back from the kids, like she had her eyes clothes and she was smiling. So oh, I say, she had googly eyes on. That is cute. Wait, so she's not calling you back. She's not even responding to a single text. Oh wow, this sounds like romantic fun walking and talk was how is she not even texting? It's a very

good point, Jose. Yeah, can you think of anything that you may have done wrong? I can't think of anything that I did. But the one thing that's kind of like on my mind is that she didn't mention that she had some amazing job offer that she was kind of like waiting to hear about and it's out of state. Um. But she told me that she hadn't like quite made it her mind, and she didn't know what was going to happen, like it was kind of like up in the air. So I'm wondering, like maybe she just got

the job and accepted it and just left. And yeah, it's really weird that she wouldn't just tell you that, Yeah, like it was already on the table still one date, like whatever, you'll figure it out. Why would she go to such extremes because it'd be a solid reason. It'd be something

where she could like reject him and it's not her fault. See, I didn't think of that at all, but now as genius, how she accidentally runs into him of the grocery stores up in a couple of weeks later. Yeah, exactly. So here here's what I need to know from you, Ryan. Did she say the job offer thing before or after the kiss? Oh? My god, you guys to blow him in my right now, we'll answer it. We talked about

the job offer after we kissed. It's not fake. You could just be that she realized that she had a real connection with you during the kiss and then she's like, oh my god, I have to tell him, Yeah, this may not work out. You guys really think that she would make coming up like that? Oh? Ryan, seriously, it's not beyond the realm of possibility. But I am still hopeful and positive that that is not the case. Ryan took Olivia out on a date where they walked around the city. They put googly eyes on in adamant objects together like fire hydrants and cop cars, and had a kiss while watching the sun set. Oh my god, and she had her eyes closed. She was

smiling when they were done. But now she's not responding, and we're wondering did she really take a job in another state? Or was that maybe just an excuse to get out of seeing him again. There's been a question that's been on our mind because Ryan told us all about your guys's date and about walking around the city doing the googly eyes, having a kiss at sunset. Is the job offer a real thing? Yeah, because we thought for a second that maybe it was just an excuse. The job offer that I talked with him about is real. The out of

state job offer is a real thing. Okay, I'm considering leaving to take it. Okay, So is that why you're not calling it back? You just don't want to get romantically involved with someone if you're not going to be here. Yeah, that makes sense. I was on the date with Ryan and everything was going good, and I guess at the NFL was just disappointed. What were you disappointed in that he didn't fight for me? He didn't fight for you? Yeah?

I need a night in hining armor to come and fight for me, to make me feel like they feel the same way I do, especially if there's a connection right away and that can happen. or text you. I mean, like you just told he wants us to go out again. I need him to say he wants something more, if that's what he feels like, if he wants me to engage.
