Episode 4: 04 Frederick Rescue Mission

In this episode, Associate Pastor Rev. Kathy Altman highlights a Spotlight segment between BHUMC's Lead Pastor Rev. Dr. Dana Werts and Teri Kwiatek. Teri is the Outreach Coordinator for the Frederick Rescue Mission and connected to Downtown Christian Fellowship, a ministry sponsored by Brook Hill. Frederick Rescue Mission opened in 1964 with humble offerings and a desire to make an impact on a community in need. What began with a thrift store and 10-bed shelter for homeless men has expanded to touch the lives of tens of thousands of people in our community over the years.  Downtown Christian Fellowship began in 2015 as a faith community that welcomes people from all races and backgrounds who can come together for fellowship, worship, Bible discussion, and encouragement.
