Welcome back to it Broncos Country tonight. Benjamin O. Albright, Nick Ferguson, Grant Smith here with you back from the NFL Combine. Had a good time out there. I talk about about that. Cobby is still going allbro on the events and all that kind of stuff. Now, we had Nate Wiggins running four to two seven or four two nine, excuse me, four two nine smoking, smoking, fastest thing cooking. Of course, he popped a groin or hip flex or something during that run. But he did run

a four two nine at the at the combine. But you know what, I always used to tea he's a champ about that because he used to pull his hamstring or tweak his hamstring a lot. And I was like, you know what that only did he tweak his hamstring or do he tweak his hamstring? Well, why you give me air quotes. I don't even know what that means. That means week his hamstring. I'm done with practice for today, So my hamstring has been tweaked. You know what, I'm experiencing lower

back pain. Now, I would say you're wrong. It could have been a combination of both. But I would always tell him, man, that only happens to those uber fast guys. I was like, you don't see John and I pulling hamstrings? No, you know, so hey, it's one of those byproducts of like being being a cheatah and known as though the cheat is one of the fastest animals on the planet. But they're going to

hold their speed for a short period of time. And the one thing I hear when I hear guys run fast forties, all that means is that you just have the foot speed to catch up. Hell you beat, That's all that means. I mean, that is one way to look at it. I look at it, you know, especially when we have you know, like defensive tackles running the forty and I'm like, you know, what's the

last time a defensive tackle ran forty yards? Shelby Harris's chased down Tyreek Hilt Like, I mean, well, first of all, it reminds me back to bum philis to have the conditioning girls or whatever. Eral Campbell or not real Cambell. What's his name that Eric Dickerson, I think it was whatever it was, No Earl Campbell, you Campbada And he said, you know, they failed a one mile conditioning test or whatever, and he'sai. Well, I guess if it's third of a mile, I won't have it too

exactly. Well, does this be totally honest about this man? I mean, if you are a D line in the great once again, you look at the split. You want that guy, uh to be able to show that he has quick explosion out of his stance. That's great. But if you have four guys across your D line, and I know it sounds great, if those guys are running like a four six or four five, that means that you expect to get gashed on every single play because they always in

Chase Mote. Yeah. By the way, Terry and Arnold widely considered one of the best corners in this class, was over four to five. Well, okay, let me tell the honest. Now, there's some guys who are more quicker than fast, right, we do, we do? There's usually there's usually a distinctive feature about those guys. Nick, I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know what he's talking about. I understand some guys are more quicker than fast. Uh huh right, right, So

wet a lot of receivers like that, real uh? Wes Welker, Yes, as many corners, not as many corners. You get slot receiver types, but we can't have quarterbacks. But that's the stuff, yeah, because here's what you're trying to evaluate. If a guy runs a forty, does he play with that sable speed? Because we know that players have an opportunity to train is just do good track fast football. There you And that's why the right, that's why the GPS sensors and that kind of data is so

valuable now and teams harvest that. They're not really looking at forty times much anymore because everybody harvests the GPS data and looks at how fast somebody is on the field and pads. Yes, that's the only thing that matters. Because I've been around a lot of guys who were fast as far as the three cones drew the forty yard gass because they were track guys, especially in high school and college. So they are built and they know how to pass that

specific test. But when you turn on the tape, that guy may have run a four too at the combine, but he's running a four to six on tape. Something's not matching up. So you're asking yourself, okay, well, which one is the true guy, is it the guy that was a weekend a workout warrior rather, and he built himself into this point where he could run the fast forty Because we're not seeing replicated on the field.

That's what we have to be. We have to take these forty times and I know we ooh and ah, well, we had to take them sometimes with a grain of salt and kind of see if we could match them up with the film. Right. I think one of the greatest examples of that is Jerry Rice. Right, four six four seven one forty was I thought it was four six four seven to one, which, by the way, which to put that in perspective, would have ranked dead last for every linebacker

at the Combine last year. If they did the simulcast video, he would be like, really really in the back. He would be way way in the back. Just don't throw the slant. Well, I'm just throwing the slang. But Jerry Rice obviously had decent speed. He obviously had pull away speed. And it's not like everybody in the league was just slower back then. I mean, the game is fast now and there are a lot of fast guys now, but it's not like everybody was. You know that there

was there was plenty of I mean, Darryl Green was. I'm just saying that guy was probably faster than anybody playing the game to day. There were plenty of guys back then that were fast. Okay, he was fast and not in his thirties. Yeah, Henry Ellert was a guy who was fast in his late thirties. That's as God given speed man. That was. I mean just saying like, there are plenty of guys like you know we

have. Somebody was talking about this on the radio. I listened to it when we were in uber in India and I heard it and the guy was talking about, Yeah, we we had this problem. We have this arrogance in our current generation where we presume that previous generations weren't as smart as us just because we have technological capabilities that they didn't, which oftentimes I would say is the opposite of the case, because they were finding more creative ways to

circumvent their problems because they didn't have the convenience right. But we do the same thing with football. We have this inherent arrogance where we assume that we're bigger, stronger, and faster now and because of nutrition, there is some truth to that, right, because of the new nutrition and the optimization of the body, all the stuff that we do now, there's some truth to that. The the reality is those guys back then, we're pretty big and

fast too. Yeah, and they were doing it without the updated advances and technology. You think about the shoes, from the aerodynamic gear that you wear that's supposed to grip closer to your body and get to win. Those guys didn't have that. So for me, I know when we look at guys who are coming out now, remember John Ross, I was gonna use him as an example. I'll never forget when he when he and I was like,

man, this dude can't play though, like I watched him. I was like, I would absolutely have him on my four by one team, but that's not what you had. But I'm not there's no you know, I'm absolutely gonna draft this guy in my Madden League because he's gonna rub I can have him run straight lines down the field. But I've watched the tape. But see that's what the late Al Davis, that's what he wanted. He wanted those. The Raiders track team was phenomenal. The Raiders football team

stunk. The Raiders track team you know, was win an Olympic gold. But this once again, this is why when you are evaluating talent, make sure that you fine tune exactly what you're looking for. I know we typically think about the forties and the bitch press as benchmarks and player evaluation, but you have to peel back layers to go a little deeper than that, because there are certain wide receivers who are straight line guys. Like when you think

about DK maykhef he blew up the combine, big massive guy. I mean, yes, but he is definitely a straight line guy in the hips. Even now I think DK is in it going into his sixty year maybe something like that. He still doesn't know how to run every route on the route treet where he has to sink his heels and get right to cut. He ain't that con He's not put him on the deep over because it's rounded out, and you know, they put him on the fly and they put him

on like a surrounded out post, you know, kind of round. They'll put him on those routes because you know he's I mean, he's just not as quick twitch. You know, he used to differ in the hips when he's a massive human being. He's ridiculously built with nobody facus. I'm insanely

jealous, but I'm not mad at him. I mean, right, but if you look at it from a defensive standpoint, you were telling your guys, Okay, well we're gonna send on some of his routes because he's not going to you know, those in breaking routes, and we know exactly what he wants to do. All right. He's gonna run the go route,

He's probably gonna run maybe the post route. And if he runs a dig, rock jump it right now because you know he's going to top chop, top chop chop before he gets into that break, right, Like, Yeah, we got DK out there. We're probably running either you know, bang eight, bang nine screen or deep over like probably you might have him on the dig, like you said, but you know what, you know what

you're getting if he's doing that, right, you know. So, I mean, it's it's it's it's more than just your straight line speed time on a forty yard And that's why this GPS data they use is One thing it was great about being out there is I didn't hear anything about that. Stupid s two test. You know, the wondering if this is a replacement, it's the predictor of all predictors. And then c J. Stroud scores the

lowest on it and goes out there and smokes competition. Now do you think that was all because of the c J. Stroud situation and more agents are telling their players not to participate in that aspect of the evaluation. I think it was because the data got leaked on c J. Stroud and you had it a glaring example of why we don't want the data leaked. And then you know, like athletes first is having all their classes not take him, refuse to take him. So I mean, you know I that test,

like what is that telling me? You know, because it certainly wasn't a predicted last I've got the scores, I've got the data. But Kirk Cousins, I think he's doing the promo right now where he swears by it. Yeah, well a championship again exactly in the indication that the test actually works. I mean, Primetime Games is he won. Kirk Cousins puts up the stand like Kirk Cousins is a fan like that. I know the machine. I know this because it was fantasy quarter That was the name of your fantasy

team against cousins. Yes, yes, And how did that work out for you? Well, he got hurt in the middle of the year, thank you. There it is. And then then Ryan got a chance to do take a victory lap over you a kind of he may have kind of walking. There was a little celebrate. Okay, it was a struck. Yeah, I was the regular season champ with the most points. And then the playoffs happened, and it said and it hurts, yes, you know speak of Jerry Rice. By the way, his son Brendan Rice. Yeah,

the combine. Yes, made a joke about him beating his dad's forty times. He appreciated that. You see Caleb Williams crashing his presser. Camelin Win's course was his quarterback at usc You got that, you got sound right? Yeah? I got a question. How did the house photo Jr? Son? I have another question after man, it feels better to be a teammate of Caleb Williams, right, all right, right. My second question is I'm coming back to this guy. Why should they drive was a fantasy player?

Should you be a wide receiver, barn you know, should you be a flex player. You know me you well, we have forty five catches in tilta yeah, something like that. Man had a pretty damn good quarterback. You never nice to have that. I thought it was funny, Caleb Williams kind of you know, kind of going over there to help his help

his dude out. I thought it was good energy. Caleb Williams's presser got off to a weird start when some guy we went to that audio grant the first question if not I figured, but some guy from a fantasy football website that I never a never heard of the site and be never heard of the guy and as one of the five thousand people credentialed for this comes in hot

well on Caleb Williams with this, Are you afraid to compete? How do you respond to people say that you're worried to be compared side by side with your peers in medicals, measurements and workouts. Are you afraid to be measured against this guy one on one? Is that why you're not doing things? No, not doing things? Others A decision me and my team, my family, and it comes down to that. I mean. Caleb was graceful in his answer. You could see the expression on his face if you had

the video where he was incredulous. But yeah, some guy from some fantasy football website just just first question comes in fire, you're afraid to compete in the rambling whatever? All the rest of that was, which is funny because on Twitter he was like celebrating that he'd ask this tough question of Caleb Williams whatever, Like the guy was competing at two different schools, Like what do

you what are you saying? Well, you know what? Sometimes that that happens, and are the business that we're now it's you know, the hot take or the shot jot take because you're trying to do something that you're hoping that we'll row that player up to make them say something that now you you could say that you created an emotional response from this particular player and now you

got the sound on the bike that you wanted. But Caleb being as prepared as any prospect to answer question, it was quick and to the point. And I know they're there as members of the broadcast media. Sometimes you ask questions and I've been around individuals who would get upset with the player when the player doesn't answer the way that they want the player to answer. And I

would often. Hell, I even had to do this at the Broncos practice and because I was walking away from one of the pressers and I can hear some guys walking behind me talking about a particular player what I call his name out But I stopped and I say, listen, you guys do realize that one you guys have a job to ask questions, but players have a job where they don't have to answer the way that you want them to answer.

And sometimes when players choose to answer the way they want to the media people asking the question, they get so offended they take it and make it personal. Well, yeah, I mean to a degree, I think, and I've seen a lot of irresponsible media out there. I think it's more about bad media trying to get a headline, trying to get people pushed people to their collumns by getting you know, and that's kind of what this is. This guy was trying to make himself the center of attention. Colemighty, isn't

there for fantasy football guy to become a star? Asking a question? And oh, by the way, if he posted the video and like gladly took credit for it, and he is getting absolutely roasted by everyone alive, absolutely right, like this is the dumbest, yankest guy's credentials. I mean,

I quote tweeted. I was like, I'm not sure. I was trying to be nice about it at first because I was like, maybe this guy's just inexperienced, but then I read some of the replies and he's in there like very it was very obvious he was doing this for attention, and I was like, I can't think of a more abrasive way to ask this question, and does it even need to be asked? No, it didn't need to be asked. But he took it an opportunity in that moment to make

that interview about him. But once again, he didn't really pull off what he was trying to pull off because Caleb answered the question and the quickest way to do it. It's almost like a great Papo bitch or Bill Belichick type of way. Right, I'm going to give you the answer I want to give you, and then I'm going to move on and at at after that point, it's almost like the guy kind of cowered back and kind of melted into the crowd because his question didn't hit home the way that he anticipated to.

He thought he was I'm tough jerdo guy, you know in a knee Andrew just some dork asking, you know, asking a ridiculous question. We did it now? Yes, we gotta hit a break. Broncus cuts any night back after this, Welcome back to it, Broncos Country tonight. Benjamin ol Brighten, Nick Ferguson, Grant Smith here with you. I just kept pausing just to see if his eyes would drop from the television screen. I assume you're watching the is that the Celtics are Celtics. It's a hard see

herd see Celtics take on the maps. Uh, which the Boston is running away with that? I know Coach Pegana'll be happy about that. By the way, taught the coach earlier today. Yes, did you Mike from us to be on the Yes, we got six pack here in a second. I taught to coach earlier today. And Uh, he's he's gonna pop on either either pop back at studio or or do some phone stuff. He's gotta get permission from commanders. But don't say this. He was out, he

was doing something. I think he was the car dealership. I had somebody, a long time listener like came up to him. We was talking about he's a long time listener, koa, all this kind of stuff. Love to have a coach on said the uh. Uh said he loved having his segments, the stories he told, the interactions, we had, all the kind stuff. And I turned to I was telling, I was telling. I was like, look, dude, you got a career in this when you're you know, when you're done. You know, it's like there's some

people that can't can't do this. He's he's got a career in this. When he's done, he's he's, Uh, he's pretty sidid. We always enjoyed that. The tax line always enjoys it. And uh, I know everybody's witching it, wishing coach Pagano a ton of success. Uh with uh with the Washington Commanders where you got a job for those of you that know. But he is gonna he's gonna try and pop back on the show. So just because he got a job, you know, back there with the

with the Commanders, doesnt mean doesn't mean we can't. We're we'll try and pump some intel out of him. Who's going number two. I tried to sweat him for this. He was not like, do you think he's gonna tell you that if he gonna tell me that. But I was like, you know, I was doing the jokey, you know, like I was doing the you were hoping, Oh I was, well, I was. I didn't expect I'll put it that way. I was doing a little bit.

You know, we said text him last night when we were we're getting Battalian food last night and uh we had a long time, long time agent, uh sitting right next to you know, me and Ryan. We just kind of chat it up whatever I'm texting coaching. I was like trying to sweat him a little bit for it. You know, you guys have the interview process going, you guys sebenty standing out of giving. I mean, I'll read you the quote. It's it's it's phenomenal. I'm trying to let

me find it here. It's it's great because he was like, uh something about uh like like everybody had good the interviews were solid, really spoke well and smart. That sounded like a that's the best player. And I was a coach, you've got a future. You've got a future in being KG. You're absolutely lot. Let's get to the six petre. It's time for the NFL sixth pat I'm gonna trade a lot of beer insight and insight information

you can't find anywhere else. No. Six, the top six NFL headline, what well nick le Broncos might be priced out of our guy, Jared Verse. I don't know if you've been paying attention to the combine workouts, but the Florida State defensive lineman who was an All American last two years,

showing that he has the athletic profile of an elite NFL pass rusher. He ran a four to five eight forty at the combine that would be the fastest forty of any player in the last ten years, who also had arms that were at least thirty three inches long and put up at least forty reps on the bench at two twenty five. Basically a rare blend of size, speed,

and strength. Miles Garrett is the only other person to have that kind of triangle of numbers as far as that kind of stuff goes talking to reporters versus you think he has a talent to be a first overall pick. So not lacking in confidence. Same quote, I think I'm a great player. I think that's ultimately for the team to decide. I think I'm a great player. I'm example of WI everything showed everything I have on the field. Like I said, best player should be picked first, I definitely think I

should be considered. Obviously, he's not gonna go first overall, but our got Jared Verse. We could be priced out. But are we still on board with that as a potential pick at twelve? Well? Yeah, if he is there, I mean I would be on board for it. And I mean, did you expect for him to say anything less than the fact that he feels as though he is first overall? Types of talent. I've been talking about Jared Ver since what December whatever was. I've been talking about

the guy like that was my dude him and a lot too. I'm like, the Broncos need a pass rush. I'm good with you one of the two both up tested well. Jared Verse tested out of a planet, but well, I would like to see the Broncos had another impact as Russeller is like Verse, but I know it's not going to happen. But to have a guy like that run that fast and that can't be Miles Garrett. I

mean, he's triangle numbers or Miles Garret numbers. That's that's insane. The only thing that could be worse is if Verse end up going to a team in the ANFC, not the Denver Bronco. I know that's what I'm saying. I don't want him to go to the Chargers of Raiders, yes, or Kansas City, oh wow, but he's not gonna make it there. But we do have to worry about the other two. And it hurts,

don't do it two. Speaking of the Commanders, they are parting ways with quite a few players or Charles Lennon though he was going to parting ways with

Logan Thomas the tight end as well. Thomas spent the last four season with the Commanders, posted to seventy two catches in his first season with Washington, limited to six games in twenty twenty one by a knee injury, retired to play thirty games over the last two seasons, one hundred and eighty four catches, sixteen hundred and eighty four yards, fourteen touchdowns over his entire run with the team. That opens six and a half million in cap space for the

Washington Commanders. Should the Broncos be interested in bringing former quarterback Logan Thomas in as a pass catching weapon at the tight end position at this particular point, with the low level of production from that particular position, I mean, you got to keep the tires on every single individual. I mean it's not just focusing on the quarterback position as a must need. You need someone that can help you be an inline blocker, but someone also who can be a threat

in the passing game. Now, don't get me wrong, Logan Thomas, former quarterback, switched the tight end. He's no Rob Dernikowski, but he could be much better than what the Broncos have had around here. So hey, listen, you do your due diligence on every single player. It's not like the Broncos are coming off with Super Bowl. I will say this talking to George Peyton privately right before we did our exclusive interview, and you can

find that up at Broncos Country Night dot com slash podcast. I believe it's up on the kiwis all that kind of stuff. But Ryan Edwards and I had an exclusive interview with George Payton. I'll tell you before all that there were two positions he really mentioned the Broncos being in on, and that was tight end a corner and he wasn't referring to just the draft either. He's

like, we're looking at you know, we're evaluating those areas. I would not be opposed to maybe making a financial you know me, Donal, I'll be talking about non free agent type stuff. Yes, I'd make a financial outlayer Loki Thomas. I don't think I would pay him. I bring him in. Well, this is I think it makes sense, especially if you do it clears medicals. Well, he clears the medical He kind of gives you someone of a Jimmy Graham type large body pass catching. We also saw

when the Commanders came here to Dimmer last year. Locus Helm has had a touchdown. Yeah, now, Kim at be more vertical passing yards for whoever's at the quarterback position. Possibly, but you gotta try it. Let me say this because everybody says I hate Sean Payton, which is stupid, but I will say this, I've been critical love Sean Payton. Has had four all pro seasons out of tight ends, Joffre Cook being one of them. He had Jeremy Shockey yep, Cook and two with Jimmy Graham yep. And

I will tell you that the tight end gets work in that offense. So if you you are a talented tight end, you can produce in this offense. That's so again why I'm saying, let's go out, let's invest in

that position. This offseason three, Cam Newton apologizes for his role in the viral fight that he was on the internet video and fight involving form NFL VP Cam Newton recently with viral Newton holding his own in the blender of fists and elbows while wearing something that looks like a Harry Potter sorting hat or something that a dark wing with Duck the villain might wear. In the latest edition of the fourth and One podcast, Cam apologized for his role, saying, there's

no excuse for what happened. It should not have been called for simple and with that, I apologize to anybody affected. Cam said, the incident started with words and it should have amed with words. I can't sit up there and say, bro, you got to be bigger than that, and then all of a sudden I do. That just goes to show you how you got to stay in control of your emotions. Could have got worse this. Cam acknowledge he do his best to restrain himself from attacking in phonics is mainly

on defending himself. You watch a fight again, it was basically three on one, and the dude still got on even though he was trying to defend himself. I think that if Cam had really fought back one of those kids, we'd probably got their their butts beat. And certainly I saw a video one guy who did get popped in the mouth, and you know that kind of stuff. Uh said, Is that good Enoughice can't kids? That contrition? Is that acknowledging what he did? Yeah, it is. It doesn't

erase the optics and the image itself. But at some point, like you said, I mean, after having a couple of days to think about it, he decided, hey, listen, he can't really go after the guys for how they responded. Only thing that he can do is kind of ask

for forgiveness for what he did. Listen, I've been in that situation before where something kind of went sideways, and instead of focusing on what the other person might have said, I said, listen, I'm calling you to just kind of hash this out because I want to apologize for my part of it. But Cam was right. That situation could have ended up much worse than

what happened. As far as the physic cuffs, he could have turned into something much more dangerous than we've seen happen in the line of these situations. Go back to Leaf brother. Yeah, Dallas, that's the first thing that comes to mind for Mkole. Hardman is denying that he leaked game plans to

opposing teams during his brief tenure with the Jets. Hardin played in five games the Jets last season, but as otherwise plays entire career with the Chiefs, was believed by some of the Jets organization, including Sauce Gardner, to have leaked game plans to opposing teams during his time with the Jets. Today,

Hartman wrote on social media that he did no such things. Say quote, there were false All Caps accusations made about me and All Caps my character, Harbin wrote, to set the record straight, I have never would never leave game plans to another team. I've never been a person to give an opponent

and upper hand on always want to win, no matter the circumstances. Harmon's agent had previously denied that Harmon leaked game plans, but some of the Jets don't believe in denial and think he told both the Chiefs and the Eagles. What was coming before those teams played the Jets. He's approaching free agents and wants any team interested in signing him to hear his denial loud and clear.

Hardman, also accidentally out of Kansas City, is tampering when he admitted that he told both Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid, hey, come get me while he was still with the Jets. Do we believe McCole Hartman's denial that he do we believe elite game plans or do we believe the denial? No? I don't believe elaked game plans. I know he was a very very disgrunt

to employee. And for the record, a lot of players say that when you played with a former team, or you play against a team that you wouldn't mind joining and your team stinks it up, yeah, you may say, hey, come get me. How is that even tampering. It's not

like we talked about contracts or anything of that magnitude. But no, I for me, when I think about the fact you're talking about the Chiefs and the Eagles, these are both games that the Jets wont So if they won those games, how did micole Harmon do something that was wrong, because if I'm not mistaken, in some of those games, Zach Wilson played some of his best freaking football. Yeah, so maybe he was leaking. Maybe they were slipping the coole. The wrong game play was the mole and really they

were using him as the double mole exactly. Yeah, that was one of those things. I was going to get to it. They lost both those games, So what does it even matter at the end of the day, you know, and he's gone now anyway, So I mean, you know what, Also, I'll say this suit you still have some bitterness from Jets players. Consider the fact that Michole Harlem's on that team. He left and

he was traded back to Kansas City and they won a Super Bowl. So sometimes as hard as a teammate to watch someone else have success, and apparently that's the case was Sauth Gardner and the other DV form the New York Jets,

especially when you don't like the guy. It was interesting by the way that several players came out and said made derogatory comments, one of them saying that, yeah, I guess McCole was just salty that he got beat up by UDFA after getting paid to come in here as a as a free agent star. So I was like, there's some bad blood there. At the end of the day. Who has the last card nor the Trump card? And that is MCA Harmon Because guess what we are saying, Yes, I

have a rig. Yes, was that the sombek kissed the rain? You need to kiss the ring remix. Five gambling charges against Iowa State athletes will be dismissed due to mobile tracking overreach that Iowa prosecutors moved to dismiss criminally gambling charges against various Iowa State players because authorities went too far in tracking their use

of sports betting apps by ESPN dot Com. Assistant Story County Attorney Benjamin Matchin wrote in a court filing that the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation exceeded the scope of permitted use of tracking software that detected open mobile betting apps at Iowa State athletic facilities. Due to this newly discovered evidence, the state no longer believes further prosecution in the matter is in the interest of judgments. Basically, they

lost because the tracking software went too far. Earlier in the week, attorneys for Iowa sweight football players Isaiah Lee jor El Bronc and Broncos Jujasa Rique had made a motion to suppress that's the digital evidence. They argued that a special agent for the Division of Criminal Investigation violated the agency's limited use agreement with geo fencing tracking software and that no probable cause existed for the searches. They argue

correctly. Because the prosecution folded, the Wasrik is eligible to reapply for reinstatement on July first. Now, these guys were all still guilty of gambling on the games. They got off on a technicality here because the tracking software that picked up that they had done it was overreaching its scope. How do you feel about how does the tracking overreach the scope? It's designed for a unique purpose to catch guys in certain circles doing certain things based on the device itself.

So the fact of saying, hey, listen, these guys actually gambled on games, but off through a technicality. Will that change the perception of other people in the public. Probably not. The tracking software can pinpoint down to where you're at in the moment, So if you open the app while you're on team facilities, whether that's college or the pros, it's gonna pick

it up. I design is supposed to do that. Apparently there's some legal legal jargon in the in the apparently advice I'm talking about the minority report. Now, is that saying that there were psychics involved here? Not saying it. Let have to look into that. But I'm saying that the tracking offer that they use exceeded the scope of what it is permitted to do. Apparently, and they got off on a technicality that doesn't even make sense. It

doesn't beyond the scope or whatever it's supposed to do. It's by design. And I'm with you on that. I need more specifics on the story. I just I picked this one up, and I guess I should have gone a little further in this. I'll call and get a quote to figure out exactly what it was. Tomorrow we can. We can get to that tomorrow or tomorrow Saturday, We'll do it Monday. I'll figure it out. That's

very interesting. Six Cowboys owner Jerry Joe said he plans to go quote all in the offseason in an effort to improve his team give the various cap challenges the Cowboys face. The meaning of all in is not exactly clear. During his annual scouting Combine Tour bus media session with reporters covering the team, he offered a largely meaningless response, and your definition of what all in and mine might not be the same thing. I'm trying to win games this year with

my decisions, so I'm all in this year. He later added undrafted quarterbacks to the future. I would be reluctant to do that this year. That's an example, use our first pick for a quarterback this year for the future. If you had an opportunity there, you are at twenty four and the greatest thing since ice cream be sitting there, I'd be reluctant to do that this year. It's called all in this year, all in this year? Does that mean that to now he's going to improve is edge rush opposite Michael

Parson? Because they definitely need upgrade there, No, Kyle Vanderesh, I mean they need upgrade there. But also does that mean he's going to go all in with that Prasco, Well, they're gonna pay Dak that's the thing. I mean, that's that's gonna get a sixty plus million dollars per year deal out of Dallas. They've got some other things to do. They did pick up the their option on Trey Lance. It only cost four and a half million. It's not a fifth year option, it's just a team option.

It was four and a half million, didn't cost him anything. So that's you know, they've got that. But I don't think they think Trey Lance is the guy right now, and obviously Dak Prescott certainly is. So I don't know what all in means. I know for a fact that Jerry wants to win now. I know he wants one more before he passes. I know he desperately wants one more before he passes, and so I think that he believes that continuity was maybe the best way to get there rather than

reshuffle it and bring in Bill Belichick. But I think if they don't get there this year, they've got everything. Maybe all in from Jerry's standpoint, means going after either Josh Jacobs, Dereck Henry or a guy within your own division in Saquon Barkie. Maybe that's it, because I mean the Dallas Cowboys have been missing that they moved on from Ezekiel Elier. You thinking Tony Poullack was going to be that guy, but Paulack quickly found out it was better

being number two than being number one. Yeah, and the Cowboys have done that before. I mean, Felix was a phenomenal number two. Felix Jones when they had him, phenomenal number two wasn't really cut out to be the lead guy. Because you imagine the Cowboys with Cdee Lamb Dak Prescott and they have either of the three running backs that I just named, Yeah, you put you put Josh Jacobs or Saquon back there. And I know, I

know Saquon was Houston, but I don't know that they want him. Broncos Country the Night rolls on after this
