This new series highlights how Jesus exampled moving beyond just occupying space with people. We’ll see Him showing us our responsibility to love our neighbors and how our treatment of them effects our city and community (for the good) as well. People prosper when our city or community prospers, and they are unhealthy when the city or community is unhealthy. Since people are so important to Jesus, Jesus loves our cities, and since Jesus loves our city, so do we.

Text : Psalm 137 God is not surprised by or afraid of our anger. He wants us to be honest about it. Expressing our anger to God is better than cutting ourselves off emotionally.
Text: Psalm 88 Topic: Sadness, Longing, Mourning, Refuge There is nothing wrong with experiencing sadness. God wants us to talk to him when we are sad.
The Bible is full of emotions. This myriad is best highlighted in the rich and artistically beautiful book of Psalms. This four-week series explores four emotional themes found in the Psalms, detailing what they mean for our relationship with God today. “Songs of the Summer” discusses God’s delight in our joy, his presence in our sadness, his understanding in our anger, and his eagerness to forgive the penitent.
