Transcript

T. Rowe Price's commitment to active management and fundamental research defines the firm. It's a key source of value-added in our multi-asset portfolios as well. Given a collaborative culture, active management permeates each stage in our investment process. We see active management in security selection, fundamental research analysts working with sector specialists in sectors around the globe, and in the portfolio.

As well, we have active management through the tactical tilts within the portfolio reflecting the views of our asset allocation committee and drawing on the insights of asset allocation committee members who have views from different segments of the capital markets, as well as from decades of experience across market cycles. Active management informs our holistic approach to risk.

This is reflected in, knowing what we own, understanding correlations, watching for concentrations, as well as, looking for relative valuation or market dislocation as opportunities to enhance the risk-adjusted returns of the portfolio by adding at lower evaluations.
